The Alcorn Braves will open the 2011 home baseball season with a weekend series vs Univ of Ill at Springfield. A (DH ) today with a single game on Sat. Today's (DH) was scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Because of weather game 1 will start at 1:30 p.m. Fridays game can be heard on wprl.org. No baseball broadcast on Sat. There will be Alcorn basketball on wprl.org .
 
SU have to get those bats hot and the batters have to stop looking at pitches and start swinging.
