Um it has nothing to do with that. You can say they hate the West. Notice, they said Western teams played there and not them which is a lame excuse. That is why I hope the West team win it all

The east coaches are now complaining that the new location (mlb academy) is still too close to southern....southern university-New Orleans. They feel that it will give su an advantage even though they didn't qualify for the tournament

You believe that huh...:smh: I know for certain Johnson wasnt one of those coaches...but either way it doesnt make a difference where the tournament is held...The field of play makes no difference when it comes to SWAC baseball and besides Baton Rouge and Jackson are the most centralized locations for any SWAC tournament or championship!

Because of where they are in the standings. S.U. issues with the NCAA isn't APR. It is with what the NCAA terms insufficient documentation..........

Downtown New Orleans is only 10 minutes from that ballpark literally. :lol: :emlaugh: As a matter of fact, N.O. is a 15 minute city. Meaning you can get anywhere you want in 15 minutes or less.........

I suspect if anyone is complaining it's Bama State's coach to feel out his influence. That guy knows Cador isn't done and somewhere down the line after this season he will need to deal with him and possibly the league about this same situation.

LOL, i'm just contributing to the foolishness. Its crazy how folks make up stuff and actually believe it. That includes the Baton Rouge local newspaper. News Flash: They can lie and print false as well and they did with that article. It was never down to SU or MLB Academy. There was never any negotiation with southern as described in this tread. The swac never visited Lee Hines field idea. I know multiple people with the advocate and I've seen articles before they are printed in the paper. They are known for taking well written articles about southern university and edit it to hell to leave a negative undertone about the university. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't on these treads.
Look at the article about the late Dr. Greggs. All what the man has accomplished with that marching band but they still have to put that negative undertone about the missing funds from the band department (which could have well been a mistake that he paid back) Why put that in an article when you are supposed to be honoring an icon and reporting news to people that are supporters of SU and your newspaper.

Also PV or Gram(if their pitching holds up) can win also. They both play excellent D. TSU doesn't have the bats to win IMO.
Um Rey don't play SU in the regular season anymore. It has been that way for the last couple of years. JSU didn't visit SU either this season. I get my info from .... :lol: So I know what I'm talking about.
