SWAC Baseball: Final Regular Season Weekend

Status
Not open for further replies.
The best in the Swac, against tougher competition :). Nothing like padding stats against Tougaloo and Concordia :retard: .

Dude, Southern may have played competition, but you lost to ALL of them. Name one quality opponent outside of the SWAC you all have defeated.

Patting feet while waiting....

congrads to everyone who made the tournament! stop arguing peeps just let them teams battle it out in the tournament!

See what i mean this guy is talking about scheduling there only non western division quality win is against JSU. Then they are playing a JUCO on Wed.....I am going to say this as a first I will be cheering for SU on Wed. cause if you guys lose and end up winning the conference you become a joke on a national level for losing to a JUCO and representing our conference. Why not schedule games at the beginning of the year so you don't have to take games like this also remember your playing still man on a 3 game weekend sad sad sad it's one thing to play them during the week as we do. But a weekend series come on.

SU is playing Tulane Wednesday @ Lee Hines. SU is playing a double header with LSUE Thursday. LSUE has a top level program, they go to the world series damn near every year. I have no problem with SU playing them. jSU only quality win the last 7 years was against Uno this season when they didn't play their starters  . SU has enough pitching to handling those games.

I thought they would be playing Tulane on Wednesday. I wonder who backed out IF that's the case.

Oh, I'm still waiting on that non-conference quality win to be posted....

Dude, I didn't ask you WHO you played, I asked WHO did you beat. JSU almost beat Ole Miss at their place. The games played against non conference opponents, you guys were blown out of every game.

But I still hope you do well against Tulane and LSU.

Now, for the umpteenth time, name that quality non conference opponent you've beaten.

So Delgado Community College has a decent program also. Wed Thur you guys are playing a Community college. Cador has to have better contacts then that. Thats cool we didnt take the SU win last year as a quality win either. If you check your facts they started every position guy that played against you guys so basically you guys got beat twice by there back ups. So if you have enough pitching to win those games how come you don't ? LSU-E has an extremely good program and second they beat ya'll they won't send a player to Southern. Smart move :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Well, I see you can't seem to find that one game, so let's move on. You're off the hook.

Seems to me that Jackson State would probably be the BEST team to be the SWAC representative, seeing that Southern can't seem to win outside the conference. We don't need a school representing the SWAC who can't win outside of the conference against quality opponents....seriously.

Since you wanna do all of that go on Boyd's world and look at the 2 RPI's and let me know who has the better one and we will decide that way. Since the NCAA does use Boyds world RPI do determine seeding.

See Newboy what I mean about discussing baseball with people who have never stepped foot on a baseball diamond :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: He's okay with scheduling JUCO. Newboy you came from a Cali JUCO if your JUCO played a four year division 1 program and beat them would you look at attending that school whether your JUCO was a top one or not ?

Matter of fact I will show you the RPI table they use to determine seeding.

Definitly wouldn't have attended that University if we were playing a spring game. However, if we played them in the fall, and beat them. They would maybe have a chance. We played a University when I was in JUCO in the Fall and got smashed. They were D-II and we had a good juco team

So you count beating LeMoyne-Owen , Concordia, and Tugaloo as quality wins  . You have 1 quality Oc win this season uNO.

OK....now you're BACK on the hook. Dude, you shoulda left well enough alone.

NAME ONE QUALITY NON-CONFERENCE WIN SOUTHERN HAS HAD THIS SEASON.....

JSU didn't get blowed out of EVERY game played against QUALITY non- conference opponents like you did. We lost to Ole Miss, but by two runs and three runs, beat UNO and lost the second game by only 3 runs due to a shortened game.

We made the games competitive, but you guys were blown out in all of your games.

Now quit ducking and NAME THAT TEAM......

Heres the link to the rpi that the NCAA uses.
http://web1.ncaa.org/app_data/weeklyrpi/2008MBArpi1.html

214 213 Jackson St. Southwestern 33-15 8-9 1- 0- 0 16-6 8-0

232 211 Southern U. Southwestern 23-14 9-6 0- 2- 0 14-6 0-0

It was last updated on 04/29/08. The last one SU was 211 and jSU was 213. If Lsu-E beat SU they beat us. I know we put 20 plus on jSU azz.
