Alabama State University, Alcorn State University, Grambling State University and Texas Southern University received the four major 2015 Southwestern Athletic Conference postseason football awards in voting conducted by league head coaches and sports information directors. The conference made the announcement on Wednesday, just three days prior to its 2015 Toyota SWAC Football Championship on Saturday, Dec. 5, at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Sh*t, I'm pissed at the number of Prairie View A&M players...:mad:

Hell, how did Weaver make 2nd team. He's one of the worst corners in the league. How many TD's and long passes did he give up this year. Every team picked on him this year, even Univ of Faith.

I knew the consistent dumbness of the SWAC would continue to shine brightly :D . How did sorry azzed jwilliams of grambling state get 1st team QB?! Dude threw 15 INTs on the year. I think Austin Howard of SU and/or Trey Green of PVAMU were interchangeable 1st/2nd QB, imho, while throwing for similar yardage w/ only 3/4 INTs on the year respectively.

I'm sure coach and staff are getting the first-hand glimpse in the fact that the overall IQ and mental acumen of the SWAC is not good, at all. It's ridiculously low as compared to that of the P5 conference which he and the others originated. smh Emotionally laced unintelligent responses w/out fact from a few in 5...4...3...2... :( #factoids

The players have fairly similar stats and the far more efficient player was selected. That doesn't seem all that controversial.

Like I said all year, SU was the most talented team I saw in the SWAC, but our coaches weren't always up to the task. We were out coached badly in the three games we lost.

Do you jags agree w/ 15 INT throwing machine jwilliams of grambling state being selected 1st team QB over Green and Howard? IMHO, Green and Howard were almost interchangeable @ 1 & 2 - similar numbers, performances, and reliability. ::read::

Williams is really good. Gram's offense takes chances. He is deserving. Williams was a senior and Green a newcomer.

Stop it! You don't lose back-to-back homes game and say you're the most talented team. You don't lose a game 48-7 and say you're the most talented team. Talent, even on defense, would have stopped Alcorn from scoring 48 points on you. You don't lose a game in which you were leading 20-3 and say you're the most talented team. That just doesn't happen.

Let me rephrase this question so I can get you to tell the truth. smh

"Would YOU want 15 INT throwing machine jwilliams as your starting quarterback KNOWING that he throws INTs @ will?"

smh :( There's nothing wrong w/ being honest man. Nobody here, that is not your alum, is remotely important in your life so F them and their putrid feelings if you hurt them w/ your response.

Not if the coach doesn't have the kids in the proper position on D. The rain completely took away our passing game. It was storming cats and dogs. Dry field and weather, that's a different game.
