https://www.yahoo.com/news/southern-university-could-medical-pharmacy-213405077.html I know XULA, is close to getting a medical school, but the Louisiana legislators have been pushing for a medical school and a pharmacy school in Baton Rouge for along time. Southern University brought this same subject up a couple of months ago, CareSouth, Our Lady of the Lake Hospital System, and Baton Rouge General were all in favor of this proposal.
SUBR could get medical school and pharmacy school.

On the nightly news (KNOE) here in Monroe, it was announced that the bill establishing the southern university school of medicine had advanced out of the House to the governor's desk for his signature. rhibhMOE)
