SU Alumni and JSU Student Elected to National Offices of Phi Beta Sigma


Arthur Thomas, esq., was elected as the 31st International President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated at the fraternity's national conclave in Detroit (7/9-7/15). Brother Thomas is a Southern University graduate and he also was a professor at the Southern University Law Center. He was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma by way of the Rho Chapter at Southern.

Also, Marco McMillian, a Jackson State senior, was elected as the International 2nd Vice President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity at the National Conclave in Detroit. He is a member of the Alpha Beta Chapter at JSU.

Also in attendance at the conclave was the International President of Zeta Phi Beta, Barbara West Carpenter. Dr. Carpenter is a Dean at Southern University.
 

I wonder what happened in Detroit. Did they empty out Mississippi in order to win this election. HA! HA! Blu Phi!!
