Students Embark on Educational Trip to Asia

Alabama State University students will travel to China and Korea this spring to get a taste of foreign culture while earning academic credit toward a minor in international business.
The group includes six faculty members and seven students -- Walter Carter, a senior accounting major; Bryan Vann, a junior management major; Robert Means, a junior computer information systems major; Cynthia Goldsmith, a senior computer information systems major; Kiya Powell-Stephens, a senior computer information systems major; Brandon Darrington, a senior computer information systems major; Eric McKenny, a junior accounting major.
Means is looking forward to the trip to Asia.
“This trip will give me a chance to get a new outlook on different cultures,†Means said. “It also will give me insight on how they conduct business practices.â€
