.....

"Kicking someone when he's down is not a good thing," Wonder was quoted as telling the music industry trade publication. "I have much respect for his work, though I don't think he's as good as (late rapper) 2Pac. But I was disappointed that he would let himself go to such a level."

Added Wonder, "He has succeeded on the backs of people predominantly in that lower pay bracket, people of color. So for him to come out like that is bull

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
."

.....

...and this just aint anybody..............THIS is coming FROM STEVIE WONDER

I know it's coming from Stevie Wonder, but what does comparing Eminem to 2Pac have to do with anything.......

2Pac ain't the 'GOLD STANDARD' in hip-hop....... :smug2:

So who is?

I really don't see how you can criticize Eminem any more that all the comedians and skit shows that make fun of MJ. And to pull the race card on this one is foolish to me. MJ is not immune to being the butt of jokes because he is black nor do I think Eminem is making fun of him because he is black. In addition I think it lowers Stevie Wonder to even have something to say on the silly issue to begin with.....but then again....well nevermind...

All I wanna know is, when did Stevie actually see this video? :emlaugh: Someone had to have described it to him, huh?

LOL

I don't think Eminem did anything (lampooning MJ) that Dave Chappelle doesn't do every week (on his show).......

You don't see Arruh Kelly, Prince, Oprah Winfrey, MTV, or white people (in general) complaining about Dave Chappelle do you???
:shades:

TM,

I think the difference is that Dave Chappelle is a comedian, so those types of things are more expected from him...that's just my opinion.

Well we have know since Eminems second album that he is good for making fun of folk so I don't see the difference.

I agree with Stevie. Why are you'll defending this "white trash" called Eminem. When you think a tragedy is someone's life (MJ's second degree burns in Pepsi commercial) is comical :mrt: . Why hasn't Eminem mimicked Suge Knight's prison term or P. Diddy's run in with the law in his videos?
