That was you? One of the footbally players on the team was telling about lady doing that. He said it was funny, especially at Grambling. He also said that person was also telling Steve to take his son with him back to where he came from. Against SU he said they heard it too

Wilson Released as TSU Football Head Coach

Defensive Coordinator will assume leadership of 0-8 Tigers

Houston, TX, November 8, 2007 ? Texas Southern University (TSU) Athletics Director Alois Blackwell announced today that Steve Wilson has been released as the head coach of the TSU Tigers football team. Defensive Coordinator DeChon Burns will serve as interim head coach for the final two games of the season.

Wilson is in his fourth season as TSU head coach with a record of 4-38. His best season was in 2006 when the team went 3-8. ?We appreciate Steve?s tireless effort and commitment to our football program,? said Blackwell.

Blackwell added that a national search for a new head coach will begin immediately. ?We are moving forward and want to provide the new head coach with every opportunity to recruit quality staff and student-athletes to our program.?

The Tigers face Arkansas Pine-Bluff on November 17th at Durley Field and the University of Houston on November 24th at Robertson Stadium.

I know they (people in the crowd) gave Wilson hell at the Grambling game. They (we) talked so much trash the Asst AD move to the other side of the stadium.

See this is what I am talking about, Did Blackwell really mean "We appreciate Steve?s tireless effort and commitment to our football program,? What he really should have been saying was this was the most tiresome commitment to our program in a while and I should have had some balls about me last year to end this foolishnes."

Out of curiousity what does this have anything to do with? Has Yoshida been a head coach anywhere since 94? If not there must have been a reason he didn't get a response because he hasn't had an opportunity to be a head coach. If he has had the opportunity to be a HC, he has failed because he a DC

L.C. would be a solid hire. But yall might wanna steer clear of Johnny Cole. I know he has a decent record in D-2 but you can say that about any number of coaches in the SIAC and CIAA.
