This weekend was the State of the Black World Conference in Atlanta, this was a very enlighthen experience.

There was so much going on but there was two session that really were GREATTTTTTTTTT

On Thus there was a Town Hall Meeting on the panel (to name a Few) was,


Congresswoman Maxine Waters*** I would move to cali just to vote for her***

Sonia Sanchez*** had tears in my eyes***

David A. Comissiong (Barbados)***he was on his***
Simon Woolley (London, England)***would go to london just to see him work**
Malika Sanders***this girl stepped on some toes, lord***

Markel Hutchins***next, martin if I ever saw or heard one***
Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell*** didn't know he had it in him***
and those are just the ones I can remember.

Only Friday there was a Plenary Session - The September 11th Attack and the ?War? Against Terrorism: How Should People of African Descent Respond?

I have met Bill Campbell's wife and have heard him speak. Don't be too surprise by what he can say.

I wish I could be there. Speaking of Black folks and voting, things may get a bit messy after the mayoral election in Houston.:eek:
