That had to be your last rip ey JR?.... A lot of folk don't talk about 87, but 87 was something serious.... Especially in the stands... Drilling was typical SU, wasn't as energitic as 84 and 85.... As far as knee-lifts from watching most of the 87 footage I have, it was the start of what we were seeing from most SU bands afterwards as far as the height of the knee lifts..

Yep. And you are right. The drive (knee lift) was not the same as in earlier years. You would still have some cats like my CB Victor M. on alto sax that was still a marching machine. LOL. He was the one that did the LL Cool J Bad routine rap in 87.

Now I need to find that dude. He used to make audio tapes of us in the bandroom all the time.

Uhhh, to any Juke who has been in the game for a while -- what happened here???

Intro from the sidelines???
34/45 Staging???
The Diminishing Box Drill???

That's a TOTAL "bite" from the old-school Jukebox. :shame:

What happened here???

Hey JR what was the stand battle like that day ??

If I remember correctly. It was a typical battle with them in the stands. We did our thing as usual. Like Jared said, we were pretty hard core in 87 stand wise. Doc didn't mind battling with Taylor. They actually got along with each other very well. As a matter of fact, I would say Taylor was influenced by what Doc was doing at SU. One of the reasons he hired Paul Adams.
