Southern University QB Joseph named to 2013 CFPA FCS Watch List

the next one ended up going JUCO after winning the state title this year....the next few coming up have different names now so I can hide in piece if they mess up :emlaugh:

We all got them in our families that is for sure. I had one that should have been running the rock at JSU a couple of years ago.

I know personally that situation as my cuz got caught up in that mess....none of those guys were recruited for Stump's offense as they were made to play in Orlando's offense or something similar to what SU is running now. Stump tried to put a square peg in a round hole

I said this when Stump got the job.. Spread players do not go well when you try to transfer them to a pro-style offense... It takes time and it can be very ugly. Which it was for Stump...

We all saw that from the time he said he would institute a more pro-style offense.

On paper, nothing about Stump said he could win before he got hired, but that's a different story perhaps for a different day. :emlaugh: Kudos to Mr. Joseph........Hope he lights the SWAC up this year.

In other words, paper don't lie, people lie. At one time I thought Stump was the second coming of Pete from what many were saying.:emlaugh:

Please reference your source, because I would like to know who said that too. Thanks!!!!!!

Congrats to Dray Joseph, he had a good season last year. I have read (on other boards) that his dad wanted him to attend Grambling... at the time he was coming out, Broadway & Grambling opted for Anthony Carrothers (who actually had an outstanding freshman season for us) before transferring to Winston-Salem. The same year, Alcorn had Bridges who beat out Carrothers as Freshman of the Year. Carrothers threw 12 td's for Winston Salem as their regular season backup, but starter (due to injury) in the D2 playoffs. Where is Bridges these days?

Dray came out of school in 2010 he was in Stump's first signing class. Carothers is a least a year ahead of Dray!
