Southern coach Roger Cador prefers forfeit to makeup for Texas Southern Game


I am actually furious with this. Cador should play, point blank, this is embarrassing. Will not take up for him and the excuses, he has the money to play the games.

Good post. This is why folks look at the SWAC the way they do. Duer must fine Cador and make an example so other schools can quit pulling this stunt about not playing.
Folks pay money to see games, but since his team's eliminated, he decides to take his ball and go home.
How can the AD just sit back and let this happen? What kind of AD just sits back and allows this to happen? This is a black eye on the SWAC.

Do you know how much money SU baseball raised in the bring baseball back gala :) . If we were broke we wouldn't be building a 1.5 million dollar baseball club house as we speak.
 
Cador has been against that 100% rule since it was put in place. He has always complained about it. For the record I feel we should play, but I guess Cador is trying to make a statement lol.

At McGregor Park in Houston?

What's really bass-ackwards and makes me think Cador and TSU's coach possibly discussed this... why not play the 2 games in BR when the 2 schools played a couple of weeks ago? There is no homefield advantage. As a matter of fact, TSU won 2 of 3 that series.

Here comes Mother TIGERS trying to save the day lol. Instead of trying to down talk SU/Gram you need to keep LSWhoo players out of jail.

Gram has more NFL HOF than LSU.

Well spend some of that 1.5 to come to H-town. If su was in the hunt they‘d be here now preparing to play. Stop with the excuses.

su has played like ten fewer games than any school in the SWAC due to rainouts. Where did that money go that they didn't use? Cador must be pocketing some of it for his retirement.:snicker:

You all are kind of uppity though to say you have been in the SWAC for over a half century and haven't won a Commissioner's Cup. If I was a betting man, I would bet AAMU will get one before you all. Why do you think Txsu athletic department can't deliver? You all are in the largest market with fertile recruiting land, one of the largest budgets, the largest student body and your athletic department as a whole is chronically middle to end of the pack. Would you say Txsu has the worse athletic department in Texas? Does it not disturb you people and have no shame when you're speaking to far superior programs?

Why not play the games when they come to Texas this weekend? They could have played a DH today or Tuesday against stu since they will be here to play PV over the weekend.

I'm gonna need you to tell Cador that SU had a gala for the baseball program because he pulling a "Sandy Pugh Po' Mouthin" on the team/media...

TSU plays UAPB this weekend for 1st place. If I were Robertson, I wouldn't waste more of my pitching staff when I have UAPB coming in on Saturday. Truth be told, the make up games may not be needed. This weekend will tell.
