Let's analyze this. Why would a self-proclaimed All-World program continually equate themselves with perennial loser. Southern U has a dismal winning percentage compared to Buffalo, and essentially the same number of championships (with Buffalo being in the SWAC a number of lesser years). This is what you call an inferiority complex dubbed Buffaloism. This program's psyche/confidence has sunken to an all time low due to their dismal big game performances. This brings tears to my eyes to see a once feared juggernaut rot and decay so swiftly.

When has one decade been criteria for being a good program? Southern's storiless, traditionless history spans one decade. That's it. Southern has never been a chapter, much less one sentence in BCF. To equate yourselves and set up camp on one's peanuts is weak and sad.

Never will the Icon of BCF equate to such a lowly state. Even when we hit rock bottom we held onto our storied and unparalled history. Now, you clowns are dealing with your greatest fears -- your nightmares of the past -- a reigning champion from North Louisiana. Typical.

Gram's offense will not produce anymore than 20 points in Jackson and they won't be able to stop Kent, again.

I don't know what Portland State brings to the table but Gram is going to have to do more than skate this year.

You are right. SU is sad. The only thing they have over us is one more SWAC title in the 90's and the fact that they beat Gram 8 times straight. JSU could never suck that much.

JSU will challenge you for the best D in the SWAC this year and you know what happened the last time JSU had the best D in the SWAC---Gram did not cross the 50. Besides, we don't need the best defense to stop Gram. Cherish that win last year. JSU is a sure bet to take the next three.

Just have your loser team at Crews on Sept. 29. Make sure that y'all put 8-10 players on the line of scrimmage to make sure that you stop our running game, while Kent throws for 400 yards or more.

I think the problems we had on the offensive line are well documented. Look at how we treated team in the first part of the season when the line was healthy. We can't have luck that bad two years in a row. When this season is over, you will have a very hard time trying to smack JSU. You returned 20 starters and could not beat us. Now you return 15 starters and you still won't. Every blue moon you will get a win over JSU. Just cherish them, please.

This is a LIE....Southern has dominiated 2 of the 7 decades of the SWAC's existence. Southern U. is the Third Most Winning Program in BCF. Hambling is not in the top 5. Southern's "ACE" Mumford is the 2nd most winning coach in BCF. The only thing that is weak and sad is your knowledged of history.

Your pitiful athletic program does not lead series to the SUpreme program in the SWAC in Football, Basketball, Baseball or Track. Your basketball program has never been to a D-1 NCAA Tourney and your pitiful Baseball team has not been to a D-1 baseball regional less than winning one game. You people or only two seasons away from having the worse D-1 basketball team in these United States.

At Southern he won 5 Black College National Championships (48,49,50,54 & 60), 11 SWAC Titles and an unheard of 38 game winning streak. His record at S.U. 169-57-14. For the mathematically challenged this represents 73% of his career wins.

In regards to "hate," you are mistaking facts for fiction. No one hates hambling (fact) but you people get defensive when you get a true history lesson from your SUperior also known as "Yo DADDY."(fact)

Sometimes it is totally frivolous to smack a regional-based program hailing from the Nation of Bluffs. If one would ask ten arbitrary football-knowledgeable fans, which is the Icon of BCF -- Icon Grambling or regional-based SU -- 100% would indicate Icon Grambling. Only Grambling (band or football) is featured in movies, sitcoms, video-game covers, NCAA commercials, documentaries, etc. If regional-based is all what you proclaim, isn't it reasonable to think Southern would be featured in something? Has your regional based program ever be featured in the aforementioned on a consistent basis like national/global- based Icon Grambling?

You preach about regional-based Southern's all time victories when as of Aug 1999 S.U. had 449, and Eddie Robinson had 408. How long did SU begin football before Icon Grambling? Legendary Coach Rob coached 588 games and won 69.4%!

You brag about beating a sad Grambling program (95-99) when everyone knew these BC victories were won by default. Only programs that never reached glory and national acclaim brag on beating sad teams.

Word on the bluff is that Pete realizes another 19 years may occur before regional-based SU wins another title. It seems the revolving-door philosophy kicks back in 2002. :(
