Description

The Community Manager will be the social media voice and primary customer contact, which means they will help moderate and inspire communication and conversation 24/7 with our customers in multi-channels. These channels may include but are not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, YouTube, FlyerTalk, forums, etc. The community manager serves as a centralized point for the brand, with the ability to personally connect with our customers. Another role is to provide feedback to various internal departments (product development, PR, marketing, customer service, tech support, etc). A community manager is the voice of the company in external social media channels and the voice of the customers to internal teams.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree preferred.
•3-4 years of Community Relations, Public Relations or Corporate Liaison

•3-5 years of Social Media experience
•Excels at research, possesses excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to create editorial and technical writing output quickly (responses to customers in social media channels)

•Proficient with Microsoft Office products

•Dedicated to blogging and use of Facebook/Twitter/YouTube

•Ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously-both internal and external-in a dynamic fast-paced environment

•Discretion to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content

•Understands social media universe including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, forums, etc.

•Understands what it means to shoulder the communication of a brand in social media

•Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment

•Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

•Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment
