At least it's a worthy opponent.
Alcorn is a worthy opponent. The gap between teams in the SWAC, with the exception of Miss. Valley State and everyone else, ain't really that great.

Wow Alcorn and the East has one weak season and now the divisions are bad?? Just a few years ago you had A strong Alabama State with Crowell, Alcorn who was really good and Jackson State who was #1 in HBCU football...The east has won the last two so until Gram/Southern wins it's still in the East...Just saying
It ain't about gaps. Alcorn LOST to Southern, Grambling, Pine Bluff, and PV. 2 of which was at they house. So you mean to tell me Alcorn would beat Southern and Grambling in a neutral site game? Please!
Before Alcorn won the last 2 when was the last time the east won it? Last time I checked west 12 east 5 Swac championships. Don't worry it's about to be west 13 east 5.

Nope Blue, that's where you are wrong, because of our system in the SWAC is just like the US election system, you are stuck with the SWAC east opponent, the SWAC east is the donald trump of the SWAC

Please tell me then ol wise soothsayer how if that "gap" is so big how we blasted UAPB and almost beat JSU? Sometimes you gotta know when to troll and when to pass up a topic
This year, it appears Grambling and Southern are the best teams then a drop off to PV and Alcorn. Everyone else falls on the same level and can beat any team in the SWAC this year on any given Saturday except for SU and Grambling (see UAPB beating Alcorn then Valley beating UAPB)

Perry Vew will get nothing.....and like it!!! They don't deserve no championship consideration til they Learn to beat both teams. Last years's team was good....this one, not so much. Had y'all gone to the playoffs, you would have gone up against a # 1 seed on the road in the ice and snow and..... well, let's just leave it there becuz the thought is suddenly making me nauseous!
