I won't disagree with you about not being equally yoke with my ex, but I do see you don't know much about Louisiana's oldest settlement. You probably don't hear much about Natchitoches because it is a lot smaller, but I've been all over Louisiana too and it seems to me that Natchitoches has some of the most attractive Creole mixed Black women per capital, especially along the Cane River Lake area, starting from Cloutierville and on up to Campti. Have you ever heard of Fort Jean Baptiste Historic Site. It was a Fort founded by the French to keep western invaders (Spanish Texas) from taking the southern part of the French Settlement what is now known as the Louisiana Purchase and the mouth of the Mississippi, basically New Orleans. Also, there are a lot of intelligent Black people that came from the Natchitoches area too. I'm sure you have heard of the Metoyer family. One of Louisiana wealthiest Black families (Ben Johnson) is from Natchitoches. People would travel from Natchitoches to New Orleans and make the place now known as Ville Platte in Evangeline Parish their pit stop. Opelousas might be old, but Natchitoches is older. A lot of Louisiana history can be found in Natchitoches. Also, there were a lot of freed Blacks in Natchitoches during slavery.

Why do I not know "much about this history" because I made a statement about who had the best looking women? :emlaugh: You have to let that stuff go....I'm telling you it will kill you. Move on, most people go through the things you've been through.

Nope, because you said Southwest Louisiana, mainly the Opelousas area had a lot of mixed Black people with Native American heritage that were freed people of color during slavery and highly intelligent. And I explained to you that the Natchitoches area is pretty the same but older. The oldest settlement in Louisiana is Natchitoches, New Orleans, and Opelousas all in that order.

Okay. :emlaugh:

No, I'm not wrong, You, on the other hand, posted all these comments, not me. YOU posted that you know all the pieces... I guess since he was a former LSU player, that gives you some sort of inclination to comment as if you know him, but you really don't. So, it would appear that YOU are wrong.
Some time ago, I tried to give you some friendly woman's advice about discretion, but I see this is something that you continue to miss. And the irony of this is that you often like to post how others can't or don't read.......WOW!!.

 96...First damn thing you don't know what the Hell I know or where I know it from because I have not revealed that to this board does not mean I don't know what the hell I am talking about...for all you know I could have been standing at the scene or just maybe someone I know was, I know people everywhere but you don't know that because you don't know me...What I do know, there was partying with drinking, and extra mouthing going on when there shouldn't have been (and I stand by what I said earlier these babies, kids "grown men need to learn that the man with the badge always wins)...and just because a media outlet wrote it does not make it necessarily true, stuff in the media gets edited at will all the time, but you know that..second who do you think You are to give me "friendly womanly advice" we are not friends 1 and I didn't ask 2...so you need to know your place with me ma'am!...I don't try to regulate you and I will not let you keep trying to regulate me..I am on here to have fun and poke fun at you all...so all you MF's will do good to remember that!

She's LSU's football team mother hen.

You damn right...now go find the fire!

Probably both. :emlaugh: This day didn't start off good for her and it has gotten progressively worse. I blame P88 for all of this! :emlaugh:

(In my sarcastic tone) How you figure, oh that's right we woke up in the same bed (that was easily forgotten)...but my day started out just great and got even better because I was with the darling little babies (highschool age kids) at a track meet all afternoon...while ya'll stay on here trying to clown me!

How the heck did I miss this thread? Look yall women just need to get nekkid and fight it out in the mud.

You know us Po Black folks don't know a damn thing about LSU and Baton Rouge, not even us SU graduates since we were made to close our eyes on everything concerning LSU. Even our family members that played football and graduated from LSU were not as fortunate as you are. You definitely are the only color woman that has ever step foot on LSU's campus to be allowed to go inside of its secret White world. I beg of you, can you please tell us Po Black folks what it is like inside such a prestige White world? But as of now, we'll just stay right here and wait on your answer.

You guys were not equally yoked. Sometimes you have to just accept those things and move on. There are a lot of people from Opelousas everywhere in Louisiana. A lot of them are in Houston too. You ask anyone in Louisiana who have the best looking women you'll here Opelousas, Lafayette, New Orleans but you won't hear Natchitoches very often (if at all). I understand why you feel that way which is understandable given the circumstances.
Man you are right! There were a lot of women from those area at Grambling. Man beautiful. Bossier City has some nice looking ladies also.

Looking at the picture, I noticed the "posture" and "demeanor" of the adults as compared to the children/younger ones in the photo. The two elderly black ladies and the older black man looks submissive and "beaten down". The "younger" black male still looks to have some fight in him...notice the defiance in his face as the fact that he didn't "put down his cigar".

The young lady seems "at least" not submissive ...but those younger two. They really appear confident and not yet downtrodden of resigned to "stay in their place". I tell you... we as a people have been through a lot. I guess that's why I get so upset when we allow ourselves to fall victims to foolishness and waste opportunities given us to advance as an individual and as a People!

Now why are you trying mess things up for us? You know Whites folks don't like Black folks with all that fancy talk. DCG is the only color person that is allowed to talk like that.

They say a picture says a thousand words.

I also studied the picture for a long time and came some of to the same conclusions you did. The women are beaten down. The old man is beaten down. The two younger kids? I suspect some of their confidence comes from youth and the rest comes from their father. He seems defiant and sure of himself though I'm sure his life was very difficult.

The young woman on the left? Does anybody else think her father is not in the picture? Somebody else. Do you all think that she's aware that she's ... different?

I also wonder if the bowed heads and stooped shoulders of the women is not really submissiveness, but defeat ... and maybe shame. Maybe the young woman and the young girl have not met those yet. But, a cruel world and an unjust system awaited them ....

:shame:
