Whatchu going to S'port for? I was suppose to be going for a family reunion but it's been postponed to July. I used to live there so I can tell you just about anything you wanna know bout it. Galilee is a nice church.

Mudbug festival this wknd huh. I want some crawfsh...they are tiny as hell out here. :smh:

Blu, go to the festival if you like crawfish.Go the casinos if you gamble or to get free drinks. Eat at Brother's Seafood (brother restaurant of Pete Harris) in the shopping prominade on the river front downtown. Then take a water taxi across the river to the Boardwalk for shopping outlet stores.
MSGSU lives in Shreveport and can probably meet up with you if she's in town this wknd.

Bossier, Shreveport, whatever...it's easy to navigate and they have all that I need.....don't take much to please me at this age...Houston has to grow back on me as I've only been home a few times this year :lmao:

But I've ventured to Alexandria, La. last month for three days.....I may move out there...they have one shrimp fried rice joint I found off Lee, a Shipley's and the entire city sits in a circle on McArthur Drive...

as for crawfish...it's a great season for them in Louisiana..

Don't start with me. :lecture: The entire city does not sit in a circle on MacArthur Drive. :whatever: :smash: Apparently, you needed a tour guide.
Don't come back though. Stick with the Cajuns at Evangeline Downs and get your Shipley's when you go home to Houston.

I got lost the first night....come to find out after I read the easy map was that I was on the other side of MacArthur..lol

Evangaline Downs....don't make me homesick...lol..shole would look good in Rapides Parish right about now....I can hear the cash register cha-chinging away....
