True story. 1982. Labor Day. My best friend and I are on the freshman football team at our local high school. We're at practice (yea, on labor day). My best friend was a defensive starter but he was the 3rd string tailback (we had good tailbacks). Near the end of practice, we have our second team defense going up against a mixture of second and third team offensive players. The play the offense ran was I Rose 28 Toss (right toss). My best friend gets the toss and immediately cuts inside because the DE on his right side came up field as soon as the ball was snapped. As he surges into the line he was hit low from his right side which caused him to twist a little before he hit the ground. Right as he was going down and was landing on his back/side one of our lineman (3rd string fatboy) in front of him got his big arse knocked down and basically fell on top of him at the same time he was hitting the ground. The result of him falling on him in that position was a dislocated hip. Freaked everybody out out there - even the coaches. I felt so bad for my best friend. It was like he was paralyzed. He couldn't move and laid there screaming in pain. Then our big teddy bear lineman started crying to make it worse. My best friend weighed about 145 lbs. The teddy bear probably was about 5'10" 270 lbs (a friggin' blob). Now just imagine that big arse boy laying those 297 lbs on a kid weighing less than 100 lbs. in Pee Wee football.
He's too big for Pee Wee football and his mamma needs her arse whupped for that stupidity.
