LOL!!!

JR,
These ole knees aint what they used to be.

I just hope they show more of Grambling....all of us didn't grow up in a shot gun house behind the Methodist church or walk along the railroad tracks.

It was a good show. I enjoyed it. I had a phone call so I may have missed something...but what is the purpose of that white boy? Is he even enrolled at Grambling? I thought I heard something about him being kicked out.

It's BET. Of course, they are going to show a re-run before the next episode. It may come on again tonight.

Congrats to GSU!

Remember the band director said he was put out of school because of grades. Yet you can come back after waiting out a semester.

Great show!

Im sure all associated with an HBCU or HBCUB feel a degree of kinship when watching this. SOMETHING HAD TO STRIKE HOME for everybody.

Unlike many of our campuses in locations involving LOCALS (who dont seem to like us very much at times).....GSU IS THE NUCLEUS OF THAT TOWN. Fan support is fantastic.

If B.E.T. would provide more shows like this.....millions of our kids will see that there's a lot more out there for us than just music videos.

90% of the people in the City of Grambling are either or have been employed with GSU, attended GSU, or their kids have...so the feeling is genuine.

Did not want to mention that but glad someone did.

The railroad tracks scene bothered me because that is really not leading anywhere to Grambling...Where he lives that is in the opposite direction of the university.

only problems with the show is the way Bruce was being portrayed..... seems as if they focused more on negatives than positives..

Here we are 2 days before the draft and they are showing pictures of his belly, more INCOMPLETE passes than complete passes and when he got hurt during the game, eating. They showed one touchdown pass, didnt mention any stats.... and made it seem like they won the game on the last play of the game..... BET could have used that game to bring more draft stock to Eugene.

Gallot's should have been mentioned, GSU family knows what I mean. :read: Glad to see Gerald still holding it down though.

The story wasn't 100% accuarate, but it was entertaining to say the least. Way to go GSU!!!!

True to all of the above.

I don't think so as much, if anything they should have filmed Mr. White...lol...while he was telling a story of how he coached Bruce when Bruce was3......:lmao:

The show was of great quality. It was really nice.

I laughed aplenty during the show. I laughed at my friend Cherie's cousin - he's an Omega, screaming into the camera, all of 37 years old!

The scenes of the football games were accurate - the bleachers were empty.

Why the white boy?

Why does EVERYBODY talk so damn country? Good Lord, the band director sounds like a true coonass.

It was a good show. I will be watching. Good show, gram! I know BET had nothing to do with the filming.

EVERYTHING he said had me rolling. He might as well wear a jean jumpsuit and have straw in his mouth.
