Right @Bewildered lol @Journalist that's why I said they might compete with Sam for the conference. The only team they have left on their schedule to be honest is Sam.....SeLA should play them close, but they just lost to BCU in a close one over the weekend. I got to see part of that game.... But again...I was talking about PV against the Southland lol

And UCA doesn't play Nicholls...hence again why they have an easier path to the conference championship....which will help PV's playoff resume if they beat them, but fail to make it to the SWAC Championship. I am TSU through and through, but I want to see all HBCUs fair well in OOC in each sport. PV appears to have the team to do that this year. Wish you all well!

Sam Houston thought that PV was going to Lay over for them, they have been told that SWAC schools suck. When PV came out and punched them in the Mouth they was in shock, then a 15 yard Penalty for celebrating, letting them 1. Wake up, 2. showed that PV wasnt believing what they had just done as well.
Fi, TSUGIRL is sharp mane. She was stating that we should win "2 of 3," not be 2-3 lol.
Did everyone notice how businesslike the shsu football players were? No smacking. No talking. Just pure football play, score the TD like you were EXPECTED to do, hand the ball to the ref, trot to the sideline, sit, drink gatorade, and wait for your next outing on offense. Disciplined. One CANNOT deny how disciplined shsu was on offense and defense. Their special teams? Not so much lol.

My bad on that. I'm usually up on my Southland stuff. This just might be the year for Nicholls. I want PV to bust the clock on them so bad. I was soooo thoroughly pissed at PV's loss to Sam. Briscoe isn't better than Kincaide.
Bruh, you need to see him in person. Briscoe is the real deal and he won the Walter Payton award for his on the field performance last year. Those #s are 100% legit and he HAS receivers that will go after the ball all the time. He's an imposing figure @ what... 6'4"? Trip thing is shsu has a backup lefty who is just as capable but more athletic than Briscoe, imho. It's him that I would fear the most because he can use his legs just as well as his ridiculously strong arm. He puts one in the frame of mind of a Baker Mayfield w/ a strong arse left arm.
It's going to be a slugfest w/ Nicholls. They are not a pushover team by any stretch of the imagination. They have a lot of talent on offense and defense.

Seems like Briscoe got some Favre in him (trusts his arm a little too much). Not trying to downplay Briscoe's accomplishments. But those receivers they got are coooooooooooooold. I like Fourcade at Nicholls. He's a plucky SOB. I like plucky. Maybe you're right. I think Nicholls under this coach has built this team to compete for the SLC this season. I just want PV to whoop that arse!
