Ryan Perrilou(sp) - Will Play for Jack...........

Man you know Gram's starter is garbage and Valley has none.

I agree... RP has NFL talent. Your coach wanted NFL talent to start for him. Makes sense... but ya'll keep denying he wanted RP to start for him.

J4l even us Blue Bengals know how comegy works. He saw a star and a seat filler and someone who would make his job easier. It would have made it easy for him to ask Rutland to switch positions and Mckenna to play backup.

Now Ruthland will want to start even though McKenna has shown that he is the better of the two. QB controvery all over again. then you add the two highschool studs who may want to play.

RP made it easy to Redshirt the frehsmen and move the other QB's to backup roles.

No doubt Comegy was working the media to get the kid. But he was also raving about Mckenna on the local news...Before RP became available.

Everybody in the JSU Den and Dens nationwide knew that had they not played musical chairs at QB then we wouldn't have started the season off with two loses. We all agreed that if Jimmy played we would win the SWAC and you know what. We were right.

Those same Den members have seen the QB's we have play and Ruthland holding his helment int he spring and they are all better than Jimmy. Jimmy could scramble and make something out of nothing.

Now we have a QB who can scramble and throw bombs...Oh well the guy who said we knew nothing is coaching in a DIII wasteland and is losing everygame.
While JSU fans are sitting back looking at there championship rings and looking to repeat and three peat ..:swink:

:snicker:

Shaw, for some, that statement went right over their head.

Landers hasn't put up the numbers that prior qb's have but I wouldn't put in the category of garbage. His biggest knock is consistency (interception prone) but he is capable of making good throws and winning games. He's not great but he's not garbage.

....just somewhere in between.:emlaugh:

Valley had sense enough to know that their chance of getting this guy was about the same chance that a snowball has in hell. The same chance the rest of the SWAC schools had. Face it, this guy is no "average Joe" as far as college football in concerned. He was still in high demand at the White schools and they get what they want.

Why didn't a white school get him? Could it be he can get away with MORE at a HBCU than at a white one that will watch him like a hawk in this age of youtube and myspace that will broadcast whatever he does.

Jacksonville State University is not a HBCU.
