Robinson Listed On ESPN's 25 Best Coaches In Last 25 Years

Eddie Robinson was listed this week as #9 on ESPN's 25 Best Coaches In The Last 25 Years list. What makes this especially phenomenal is that the list includes coaches from all sports, all levels, not just college football. Needless to say, he's also the only African-American on the list. Coach Bryant was only coaching for 3 or 4 years in the ESPN era.

He would be on the list for the 25 years prior to the ESPN era. Coach Rob would be on that list also.

I like the ESPN one. Dean Smith #1. I agree. Of course, I'm biased.

HTF can they have Tony LaRussa ahead of Bobby Cox? I know he's won more games total, but he's managed for more years. They have the same number of world championships, but the league and division titles aren't even close.
