I just got 4 text messages from old college buddies saying that Terrance Levy (former SU QB and Bayou Classic MVP) is no longer with us. I don't know what exactly happened, but maybe someone with ties to the SU Athletic Dept knows more info.

Awh, man, I was sadden as well to hear this news. Then when i heard suicide i was further shocked!! I pray the strength of the Lord for his family, team mates, and coaches that were close to him. Only God knows!! R.I.P. Levy and thanks for the memories......

RIP Levy. I once stopped and helped Levy change a flat on the side of the highway before. Sad to hear this news. I heard he had a condition, and suffered from deppression.

We thank you guys for your prayers because his mother is taking it very hard. He killed himself with his father shotgun while everybody was at work. He left saying loves his family and he just couldn't be a burden on them anymore. The family is shocked because they knew he had problems just the fact that he had that many problems to kill himself but we thank you guys.
