RIP David Bloom

I am only rehashing what I heard the Heart Specialist say on tv this morning with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer as well as them showing DAVID BLOOM say he had cramped sleeping quarters and showing him rub his legs to promote circulation while sitting on top of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

Take it for what it is worth.

Thanks J4J for that info.

I find that hard to believe.....maybe it could happen that way...but I'm not sure.

DSN, it may be hard to believe, but this is not the first time I've heard of this condition. I remember reading a report a few years ago about people, on long transatlantic flights, getting clots in their legs. It was suggested that when on long flights, get up and walk around to get the blood flowing.

Now having said this, I'm still not blaming Bush for Blooms death. I never liked the idea of the news agencies having reporters traveling with the troops. I felt like they were in the way and as this war goes on, there are more and more stories of how these reporters are either in the way or over stepping their bounds.

Well having had a family member to die from this condition I know it exists. My granny developed blood clots from traveling on a train from Houston to Michigan. The doctors said because she didn't move around much on the trained that she developed the clot. She was treated and released from the hospital but the clots came back 2 years later and she died from massive clots in the her lungs after a long bout with illness and the inability to walk around much.

May his soul find peace and his family find solace in that he was loved and respected by many.

Well the reports are coming in that the cramped conditions in the Bloom Mobile led to the blood clots. So like I said it was Bush's fault.

How in heavens name is this Bush' fault? Did he call him up and order him over there? Last time I looked, he was a reporter, not a member of the forces. Call a spade a spade. War or no war, Bush is not *in my opinion* the cause of Blooms untimely demise.

May his soul RIP... God be with his family during this trying time. David will be missed, although he is in a better place.
