The real question is when is the last time FAMU had a winning season? They won't be going to the playoffs or the bowl game anyway.. LOL Does their vote matter? Also, when do they get out of their post-season ban?

FAMU and SCSU have been public in their dislike of this game (although Pugh seems to have come around in saying that just going to the playoffs ain't working). Just sad

This season...and it doesn't matter. We don't have to wanna play the game...stop trying to convince us(which is almost as annoying as MEAC fans calling it a chitlin bowl)

The game is happening...it is what it is. But that doesn't mean our administration or fans have to want to have the game

CHITLIN BOWL?!

Why is everyone so enamored with Atlanta?

Because Atlanta is to ******s as slop is to hogs ... But it is centrally located in the footprint of both conferences ...

BTW: The Hawks is ON FIRE right now and they had to do a damned Tinder promotion to get arses in the seats in the Omni/Philips Arena

Someone in the other thread said we shouldn't care if MEAC folks back this game or not, but I'll say again, they are crazy enough to stop supporting their school's athletics because of this move. I still can remember being in a chapter in MEAC territory. I proved to a brother who held a chapter office that he and the chapter had been doing something in error for years, which was not what the National Organization required of its chapters. They were basically circumventing the Organization’s by-laws, which allowed him to do whatever he wanted for years without being accountable. They didn’t have a clue on what was required by their own Organization’s by-laws. The brother I proved the error to, eventually telephoned the National Organization in order to get a letter from them to prove me wrong. When he called, I believe the executive secretary at the time was the one who took care of him. Not only he was corrected, but was asked how long had he been a member, which the brother had been a member for right at 30 years at that time. The brother was so embarrassed that he decided not to associate himself with the Organization anymore and until this day he still doesn’t. I've never seen Black people get so bitter when other Black people try tell them what's best for them to survive, but they would worry a person to death on what they used to have and how they wish they still had it.

Can this game be rotated between three cities (New Orleans, Atlanta, Houston) like the BCS National Championship game??? I do believe New Orleans and Houston have never hosted a SWAC/MEAC bowl game before, but Atlanta has.
