Dude, Old Man Jackson was 3-3 with Barlow and was about to go up 10-3 if two o-linemen didn't do down. Comegy didn't leave OMJ many linemen. Once we couldn't move the ball anymore, ya'll took off. Oh well. It's a new year... but you get an old school azz whooping.
 
The SWAC is returning to the glory days where coaches wanted to show off their abilities. I would not be suprised if BCC and FAMU join the SWAC if invited.

A one point loss to your rival is not an embarrassment. And yes the MCC defeat did seal Barlow's fate.

BTW, leaving now to go see the intracity rival basketball game between Carver and Lee. They are two of the best teams in the state. Lee picked up two starter off of last year's St Jude team.

Dude, I was at the game. The Hornets had nothing to play for until the half time melee. Now I'm in agreement that JSU should be vastly improved next year under Jackson.

His salary is not 180k, he will probably make more than Jackson at JSU. Bama St was working out a deal for him this weekend. Bama St was asking donors and boosters for 100k this weekend. Jenkins was already talking to Bama St even though he said he was recruiting for Bethune, actually Bama St while employed at Bethune. He is going to break the bank at an already financially strapped university. I'm sure the students will not be happy!

Montgomery basketball sucks.... You see what happens to Carver every year in Birmingham.... Neither are nowhere near being the top teams in the state.

I know they got it going on up in the Huntsville area. However, there's not many high school teams that can put the individual talent that will be on display in this game. I just hope I can get in the Gym to see it. Hope to see you in B'ham in Feb.

We had a one-armed o-lineman. Not that it was your fault tho... LOL But we were not about to block in the second half. We had to rebuild the o-line over the next few games with converted d-linemen.

The difference in the second half was our QB play. We switched QB's and played our backup. Hopefully QT starts next year.

Talent isn't the problem...Carver had the worst coach in the state!. He should have at least 6 state titles with the team's he has.
