Reason why black athletes stay in trouble...

What Kobe Bryant did was a mistake, Hell we all could fall under that trap...everyone knows Kobe's Character... And where and how he was raised. Not the typical Black athlete u see in trouble or in the media for certain things he does, wears, or says that makes him stick out in a negative way

Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. It is what it is. I can't say whose trapped in a world of fear, cynicism and paranoid bravado. All I can do is speak for myself. I'm trapped in a world of REALITY simply because I'm a realist.
You said the white man is not out to get you all of the time? All of the time? Maybe just some of the time or the majority of the time?
Right there, you indirectly admitted that some of the white media are not just and honest in their dealings with people that don't look like them or act like them because if they were, they would eventually be forced to look deep within themselves and admit that they have serious faults and serious issues just like any other group. They're just better at hiding them.

msp, you weren't born yesterday, so you know exactly what I'm talking about.

JayRob, I don't deny that racism exists. Yes, racism exists. Prejudice exists. Discrimination exists. Injustice exists. And we should fight them as hard as we can wherever they are found.

My point is simply that not all situations are due to racism, double standards or any other perceived injustice. In some cases we should bear the responsibility (whether we want to or not).

It seems to me that some people manage to blame others whenever Black people are punished or penalized. They find a way to make something else responsible other than that person's actions. To me, this attitude doesn't serve us as a people.

What's the difference between these two situations:

A) Person was driving the speed limit and gets pulled over for Driving While Black.

B) Black person gets pulled over by a White officer and given a ticket for driving 75 mph in a 65 mph speed zone.

According to some people, both of these are examples of racism.

I think only one of them is an example of racism. Can you guess which one?

Both could be judge as racism. Are you and styles twins? Because you both are on some stuff today.:retard:

1. Black get pulled over by a white officer and given a ticket for driving 75 in a 65. What was they real speed? Most cops just guess that off the top of their head. They pull you over to see if you have warrants, carrying some key or anything to harass you.

2. Refer to my number 1

Do you see what I mean JayRob?

A) Person was driving the speed limit and gets pulled over for Driving While Black. If that is indeed the case then, that is racial profiling.

B) Black person gets pulled over by a White officer and given a ticket for driving 75 mph in a 65 mph speed zone. If he is clocked at 75 in a 65, he is simply being pulled over for speeding, which he was probably aware of and should just accept the ticket.

Which one do you think is a case of racism?

Because his (His being D. White Mayne, in case ya fuhgot) Ritz crackered, Red necked, pink toed ass is the cause of ERR BIT of our problems, Bruh!

Ye'en know?!

msp is over here inciting a riot. :emlaugh: 83 and rob wants to oblige. :emlaugh: I sure hope this isn't more black on black cyber crime (not sure of msp origins). :emlaugh: What little Cajun (lol) from above Turkey Creek started all of this mess? :emlaugh: And, is this a Gram product? (o.k. that was a cheap shot) :emlaugh:

So I'm guess when you have a dozen unloaded guns in your house along with marijuana in your house around small kids like Tank Johnson and get thrown in jail, it's the white man's fault?

So I guess when you get suspended from the NFL like Pacman Jones did, it's the white man's fault?

So I guess when you are allegedly involved in an illegal dogfighting operation like Mike Vick is, it's the white man's fault?

So I guess when you get thrown in jail the night before the Super Bowl like Eugene Robinson did for trying to pick up a hooker, it's the white man's fault?

So I guess we can put 100 percent of the blame on the white man when a black athlete gets caught up? :noidea:

Yeah! Yeah! Hell yeah!

That is EXACTLY damned it! :jump:

I'm SO GLAD you got it before TOMORROW, Kendrick! DAMN!! :D

Over exaggeration at it's worse. Not surprised though.

This thread was about how ALL BLACKS BEHAVE INAPPROPRIATELY WHEN THEY GET RICH AND FAMOUS. NOT about blaming the WHITE MAN FOR the misbehavior or the media's portrayal of the misbehavior.

The sad part is that we cannot avoid the two. And it's becoming more of a cancer.

I don't recall reading where one person whose posted, claimed that ALL situations are due to racism, double standards or other perceived injustices.
If I missed it, please point it out to me.
The main point was that Black males seemed to be judged much more harsher than their White counterparts, when committing the same exact offenses or in some cases lesser offenses.

No one is saying that Black males shouldn't take responsibility for their own actions. What I'm simply saying is that when Black males have to suffer the consequences for their offense, it should be no more or less than what the White males have to suffer at the hands via the media, law enforcement, the judicial system and/or public opinion.

And on that note....only a black male can speak about this.

Unless

1. They didnt grow up in the hood

2. They live around a bunch of yt's all thier life.

Now which one sound like MSP1911?

Okay, so he's either

1. Exceptionally smart

OR

2. Woefully freakin' deluded.

Either way, it's probably D. White Mayne's fault, I'm guessing; or is it some overprivileged, underetiquetted Negro athlete's fault?

I love it.

Right... I don't know who made it about blaming white folks lol.

How did we get here? Who blamed Dwight Mann? I'm still shocked that ALL black athletes stay in trouble. Congress needs to have a hearing on this.
