I really like this show and am looking forward to the season premiere on July 30th....but, what I want to know is why is this show called the Real HOUSEWIVES, when only two of the castmates are actually married? I wondered about this on last season. I never really got into the other real housewife shows before this one. Since this one is about black women, it actually caught my attention more.

If u see a chic walk into Bellogique Salon wearing jeans and a black shirt in a scene with Sheree and Lawrence, that's ME!!! :D :emlaugh:

Where's that salon at, yvette? I wanna visit it while I'm there....I need to call you so you can show me around. :D

i'm ready for season 2! I see they are replacing DeShawn Snow with Kandi from Xscape.

I always wondered the same thing, W~.

I'm ready for Season 2 too. Gul, all these Housewives shows have married and nonmarried but usually ALL are being taken "care of" by somebody. Don't let it worry you none, cause they NOT gonna change the name.

The NJ housewives were pretty damn good too. Better than Orange Co or NY. I think they have a new franchise coming out. Anyway, I'm addicted to all the housewives shows.

I haven't watched this season but I do wonder if they touch on the fact that NeNe and her husband were evicted, or that Sheree's house was foreclosed on, and I just read that Lisa and Ed's home was also foreclosed (but they moved into another spot). I would think that just kills the whole image of them being financially together.

:shame:
Oh well.
Real Housewives crap.
Now real House Husbands crap.
I guess people will make Octomom a damm star Sunday night. :vomit:

They do touch on that- NeNe and her husband got another house; Sheree and her kids moved into another house because her ex-husband basically quit paying on the one she was in and in foreclosed.

Yeah, it's boo boo. They could have video taped those episodes down on Simpson Rd with some real deal folks of Atlanta.

Aye BB, you better leave my folks on Simpson alone. :emlaugh: My cousins would be perfect for this show. They would show out the right way.

they should bring Frankie & Neffie on this show
they all in Atlanta right?
Throw in that dude from Alcorn also.

ATL Housewife NeNe: “I Was A Stripperâ€

“Yes, I was a stripper - let the judgments ensue. I’m not ashamed,†she says in her book.

“What difference does it make if I danced or not?†she asks. “Is the sun going to stop shining? Is my past taking food out of your mouth?â€

“[I stripped] for the sake of my son, and to restore my confidence in myself,†she explains. “My son was in private school, his father wasn’t chipping in for *pull-ups or food, I had no job and no money coming in, the rent was past due, and the super told me and my roommate that our condo owner was about to put us out. It was about survival.â€

“I could make $500 off one guy just by turning him on,†she says. These men “were obviously there to see what I had, and I quickly realized that those men weren’t there to make me feel bad about myself.â€

Sheree's husband stopped paying the mortgage probably on purpose.

Lisa is a Real Estate broker, I read where they allowed the home to go into foreclosure because the value dropped significantly and they were paying a mortgage way above what the house was worth anymore. It was a strategy move. They immediately moved into another home, so they obviously are not broke.
