"I played badly," said Herchenbach, who as a first-time starter was 16-of-26 for 123 yards with three costly interceptions. "I'm looking forward to getting better in the next two weeks before UAB. I just played bad."

" I feel like we were in it the whole game," he said. "I made a couple of bad decisions that cost us."

The ASU offense managed only 171 yards on 44 snaps. BCU controlled the clock for more than 38 minutes.

Bethune-Cookman University rolled up 370 yards of offense and dominated on both sides of the football

You felt like you were in the whole game? :xeye:

"I don't think it slipped away from us," A&M quarterback Kevin Atkins said. "We lost our focus. We didn't capitalize. Every time we got down there we made a dumb mistake. It seems like we're not right mentally.

"It's very frustrating. We know we can score, but we can't get in the end zone. We're moving the ball, but we can't score. I don't know what it is."

Perrilloux finished with only 173 yards in total offense before taking the second half off, but was nearly flawless in directing the Gamecocks' offense.

Jones refused to talk about Perrilloux's night.

"He's not on my football team so I have nothing to say about him," he said. "Everybody knows what kind of player he is. If y'all want to talk to a coach about Ryan, y'all should talk to (JSU coach Jack) Crowe."

LOL @ "not being right mentally."

Hey Beans....they have a CB on the All SWAC and an All SWAC LB that are better than Dominique Johnson and M. Speaks. You would think they would be able to stop BCC,

haahahahahaha
ahahahah hahaa

Hey Beans..they have a transfer QB from UAB. He must really suck if he cant beat that sorry ass white boy out. But then again they do have a white coordinator. There must be some racism going on here.

Hey GR, I think that sorry ass white boy is the one that manged 95% of their offense. LOL!!!!!!!!! He had 123 of their 171 total. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, there is some underlined racism going on here. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's another one for ya, MH.

"I feel like as a team we're better than both teams we've played," Herchenbach said. "Maybe I should take that back. We just need to get better."
Thank goodness that someone has good sense.

Little offense: Rahmod Traylor led the Hornets on the ground with 42 yards on 10 carries, but none of the other five rushers managed double digits as ASU finished with only 46 yards on 16 attempts -- an average of 2.9 yards a carry.
Anthony Speight added 6 yards on one carry, followed by Joel Raggins with 5 yards on two carries, Lorenzo Goode with 5 yards on one carry, Nichola Andrews with 2 yards on one carry and Reid Herchenbach with minus 14 yards on one attempt.

Traylor also led all receivers with six catches for 42 yards, followed by Darius Mathis with five catches for 58 yards.

Upper hand: Bethune-Cookman improved to 11-3 overall against Alabama State, including its fourth straight victory in the series. The two were regular foes from 1970 until 1983 when both were SIAC rivals.

Cold streak: Reggie Barlow dropped to 5-8 overall since returning to his alma mater last year. ASU started out 4-0 a year ago but has since lost eight of its last nine.

Barlow only won one game after his 5th game last year? 1-9 after the beginning of last year? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even Im better than that sorry ass white boy at ASU

Warn? LOL!!!!!! Dude, I'm not thinking about your warning or the SHC. This year TnST will get their heads kicked in. We're about to show you all how to keep a lead. Sit back and watch daddy.

Lot of 3 and out's for Gold Toofus mafia South.

171 total yards / 44 play's ran = 3.8 yards a play.

Are you planning to import an offense from another school to do this b/c the one I saw in Week One and the one I heard about in Week Two ain't gonna do it.

With Herchenbach struggling, the ASU offense managed only 216 total yards, trailed by 17 minutes in time of possession and crossed midfield just once in the second half.

Now that is truly sad............

But what's even sadder is this:

Bulldogs-Gamecocks series may end: A&M will host Jacksonville State next season at Louis Crews Stadium, but beyond that, Jones says he doesn't see the two teams meeting again.

The Gamecocks whipped the Bulldogs 45-18 Saturday night. The win gave JSU a 21-2-2 lead in the all-time series. Jones was asked about continuing the series Monday.

"I don't see the benefits in playing this game," he said. "When we play them there, it's always tough on our kids. I don't mind playing a team and if they beat me, I have no problem with it. When we go there, if you go back and look at their history, their sellouts are against Alabama A&M. We're consistent in the crowds we bring and when it's time to return the favor, it looks like we're playing a team from California let alone a team two hours away."

This is the saddest isht I've heard this guy say. Why dont he grow a pair and just say that they whoop our @$$ and I dont want to play them anymore. Blaming attendance for not wanting to play them again is some weak isht. We all know Annie Mae dont even support their own home games.

Athletics director Betty Austin is hopeful the series will continue.
"I think it can be a win-win situation for both schools," she said.
Even so, Austin admits she has heard from A&M supporters.

"I have been approached by some of our fans who felt we shouldn't be playing them," she said. "Their history is they don't bring many fans when they come here. We're going to promote our game and see if we can get the booster clubs involved so this will be a renewed relationship where both universities will support each other.

"Our supporters feel like we get out and support our school by going there. When we support our team, we're supporting Jacksonville State. Why do we keep putting money into their program, and they're not reciprocating?"

LOL!!!!!!!!! I see that MD & the Silver Foxes has gotten to Betty and told her to change her stance on this series too. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

After 2 lop-sided losses, A&M looks for answers

It was the second time the Bulldogs have been blown out in as many games this season.

The question is where does Jones start, considering the Bulldogs are struggling in all three phases of the game.

The Bulldogs are allowing almost 430 yards and 39.5 points per game. Their opponents are 14-of-24 on third down, converting at a 59-percent clip. A&M has just two sacks through two games.

And we tried to tell you that it was going to be a long season this year. You all will not win 5 games this year.

Here's another quote that tickles me. You have to look for the inside punchline to get this one.

LaFleur said he?s been in contact with Mississippi Valley State.

?They weren?t happy,? LaFleur said. ?They asked why we didn?t come play up there. But two things. One, we?re not prepared to spend the money to go up there. That?s not in our (budgetary) plan for this year.

Richardson said he?d prefer Southern (0-2) plays Valley (1-0) on Saturday.

Do you all see the punchline? Not yet? Let me help you out.

Just last week, Petey Pablo wanted to cancel the game against TnST (on the road) all together, but this week (at home) he wants to go ahead and play Valley. LOL!!!!!! Why is that?

Is this what that guy that played with McNair (who he dont remember) was yapping about? All this fuss about bringing back excitement? All this fuss about ushering in a new era? All this fuss about finally beating Jackson State?

The Braves had just 176 yards of total offense and threw four interceptions in the loss.

The Braves had only 41 rushing yards in the game and Alcorn?s leading rusher was quarterback Tim Buckley, who had only 34 yards on the ground.

Buckley was only 16-of-33 through the air for 141 yards and three picks while Tony Hobson threw the other Alcorn interception.

Is this how he plan on doing all this? This is sad............

Beans, you can play it off all you want to, but we konw it's bad in Jacktown. The most famous quote of the year "I'm King Kong dammit". :smh: Buffet boy. :smh:
