Lets try this again. 1 Pet 3:7, Gen 2:24, Phil 2:3, Prov 31:10-11, Sos 5:10-16.

But I think y'all womenfolk like Esther 5:3. It speaks of giving.

And the king said to her: What wilt then, queen Esther? what is thy request? if thou shouldst even ask one half of the kingdom, it shall be given to thee. Douay-Rheims Bible txlation: basically, if wife asks for it, grant it. :read:

Thanks Shaw. Thinkin about a dry rub.

Hey Jax........first of all don't boil them ribs.....takes the natural flavor out of them in my opinion. Secondly if you get some rub......try this stuff called Grub Rub.

It is some good isht. Academy usually carries it and some Krogers. They have some tips on their site as well on how to use it and other grilling tips.

Here is the link to the website

One thing I do is let my ribs soak in some beer or apple cider/juice overnight after I have seasoned them. I know some folks who do boil them......they boil in them in Apple Vinegar.

And whatever you do don't use Dales. I mean it okay but it too salty and has an after taste.
shaggy,
I agree that Dales can be a bit salty or strong. But just dilute it with some water. (years ago when I was in school, for a short time, I worked at this restaurant and that's exactly how they marinated their steaks, etc. Almost half Dales, half water) From time to time, I still use Dales like that. Its pretty good. They now have a version with less sodium, but I have never tried it.

I just wanna give props to my road dog Jax for doing his thing on the grill yesterday.

preciate it mane. The ribs Lemoine bought were easier than the ones I did at the crib.

Thanks for all the tips fellas.

Shaw...you was right about the beef ribs. NO MORE! The rub I made made them a lil too salty. I got some hickory chips and smoked them as well. I had to enhance the bbq sauce with a lil brown sugar to counter the saltiness. Came out good. preciate mane. I bought a slab of John Morells pork ribs.
Those came out a lil better.

Dacontinent...I kinda followed your advice on the time. Good lookin out.

JR...didn't boil the ribs. I boiled the chicken then smoked them. MAN! Talk about tender! Thanks.

Oh yeah...dude at the Grill Store on Jefferson and Lobdell told me to rub some mustard on them. Mustard acts as a tenderizer. I tried that on one slab. Probably why it was kinda salty. I heard about soaking them in some beer or apple cider over night as well. Next time I go there I gotta get this grill called the Big Green Egg.

The store owner was smoking 2 hams in that thing. MAN!!!!
