PVAMU Baseball Stadium Upgrade

It is currently out for Schematic Design & Design Development......

Is that like just before the preliminary design phase or is it the phase for the geotechnical and survey works, which also could be considered the preliminary engineering phase?

Good crapola!!!!! Keep us posted.....

I know Prairie View is part of the Texas A&M System, but why do I see an A&M hard hat?

Representative from the board, he was a Tamu grad and brought his own helmet.

Tell that mofo that this is Prairie View, not TAMU. Next time, get that mofo a Prairie View hard hat. I guess Alcorn's coach should have the right to wear Mississippi State gear on the sideline, since he graduated from Mississippi State.

If you say so, but SU better not release any photos of a ground breaking ceremony and one of the hard hats has another school's logo on it. We have board members that graduated from another university, but I'm sure SU's Board protocol requires them to represent SU to the fullest and no other university, unless it is a joint venture with another university and both universities are represented equally. Prairie View's stadium project has nothing to do with TAMU.

After waiting 70 years for new stadiums I don't give a flip who wears what. I guess we should have loaned him that hard hat that losing PV coach used to wear

I guess when folks have been beaten into submission for so long, they'll take anything for some relief.

J89 PV is TAMU

I know that which I've stated in one of my previous posts, but Prairie View doesn't use TAMU's logo. This would be similar to Grambling having a ground breaking ceremony on its campus and the hard hats had the ULM logo or the ULL logo. Even the university in my hometown (LSUA) would make sure there's a distinction between LSU and LSUA, although they are both in the same system. Their colors and mascots are not the same.

Neither are PV's and TAMU's... :noidea:

I was using those two (LSU and LSUA) as examples of two schools in the same system with totally two different identities. TAMU's logo, mascot, and colors are not the same as Prairie View's logo, mascot, and colors, but someone had a hard hat with the TAMU's logo at Prairie View's ground breaking ceremony. Maybe TAMU's logo, colors, and mascot will be painted throughout Prairie View's new baseball complex.

Prairie View A&M and Texas A&M have different identities too. :smh:

LOL!!!! Not bitching, but if you are okay with TAMU's logo being paraded around your campus by someone who are making important decisions for your school, then more power to you. :emlaugh:

And by the way, it could be added into the contract documents that it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to supply hard hats with Prairie View's logo and colors at the ground breaking ceremony. I'm sure the contractor wouldn't mind buying a few $5 dollar hard hats after being awarded a contract that is worth over $1 million dollars. After 4 or 5 ground breaking ceremonies, Prairie View should have collected enough hard hats for such occasions. I bet that's how that board member got the TAMU hard hat. I'm sure at every ground breaking ceremony on TAMU's campus, the contractor supplies the hard hats and shovels with matching colors and logo.
