PVAMU Alumnae Receives Fulbright Fellowship

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Prairie View A&M University graduate Misha Granado has been named a 2007-2008 Fulbright Fellow. Granado completed her bachelor?s degree in psychology at PVAMU and was awarded the fellowship after completing her master's degree in public health from Florida A&M University earlier this spring.
?There are many pillars in the foundation that contributed to my pursuit and award of the Fulbright Fellowship?Prairie View A&M University was one of them,? admits Granado.
?PVAMU sparked my interest and love for psychology, especially as it pertains to individuals of African ancestry. The pedagogy that my professors provided instilled a level of professionalism and excellence; which I apply to all of my pursuits.?
