GR, George didn't fail in the classroom. His ACT scores were in question, after the NCAA Clearinghouse cleared him to play as a freshmen. Go figure.

Depending if these guys stay healthy the entire season:

OPTY - Tavaris Jackson or Bruce Eugene (if the other recievers help Abney, and Edwards out in the reception department)

DPTY - Cletis Gordon (may get killed playing everything, but I hope he stays healthy)

NICE
Nice

6 in one hand, one half dozen in the other.
For you SU grads and George, that would be the same number because 1/2 of a dozen (which is 12) ....ooooh nevermind.

Well Im not about to argue with but Watch your husband Cletis Gordon get the Special teams award and by the way how do you post pictures

OPTY - Jackson ALABAMA ST
- K. Williams ALABAMA ST
- Eugene Grambling

DPTY - Johnny Baldwin AAMU

Judging by the numbers at JSU's spring practice Oh Great One, I'm sure everybody was academically eligible. I know all of the players coming in for fall practice are transfers, freshmen, and....oh nevermind.

NICE

:lmao:

U want them to to get the awards

Offense-Tavaris Jackson

Defense- Jamaul George

I got Keldrick Williams and Tavaris Jackson as Co-Offensive Players of the year

Still a Toss-up defensively....

I will say this though, this is going to be an ovvensive year for the swac as a conference....

AAMU has got a real gem in Harold Dorman...I got a chance to see the kid alot when he played h.s ball in the DC/MD/Va area and he's got D1 explosiveness to him...I'm still shocked that UMD let him get out of the state, much less to an HBCU...

If AAMU gives him the frerdom to free-lance within their offense, it's gonna turn their offense into a completely different animal..

AAMU will still have the same a grocery full of defense and a food stamp offfense

Alabama St. 2004 SWAC Football Champions.
yea you did force about 7 turnovers but it didn't matter but yall won but guess what we got yall in Mobile and in B-HAM

Offense sells tickets, defense wins games, but KICKING wins championships.

All that talk about special teams being 1/3rd of the game but getting 1/100th of the attention by most coaching staffs is short-sighted.

Just in Mobile
Why yall ain't going nowhere If yall wanted to  Now what I said I mean It Mobile arse whopping 1st and B-HAM arse whopping 2nd :swink:

Offensive POTY - Bruce Eugene

Offense: Aries Nelson (another year of experience, and a full arsenal of weapons at his disposal)

Defense: Tyler Knight (a tackling machine, will spearhead a much improved Devil's defense)

1 out of 2 ain't bad. Ask Tarvaris Jackson about #44 Tyler "Superman" Knight :D
