SUs main problem right now is that you all won a title with a bad team and you don't see it. Losing a QB off of a bad team is simply not good. But hey, ANY team can go up or down.. maybe you all will go up.

Running back Tyre Bracken has been dismissed from the Southern Miss football team, head coach Todd Monken confirmed to GulfLive.com on Thursday.

Bracken, a sophomore from White Castle, La., was the Golden Eagles' fourth-leading rusher and third-leading receiver in 2013. He totaled 159 yards on 47 carries and 31 receptions for 301 yards, playing in 11 games and starting six.

When reached for comment Thursday, Monken declined to elaborate on the reason for Bracken's dismissal. "My comment is 'no comment,'" he said.

But won't say why. The leading tackler on the defense got kicked off as well. A former SU player who is a news reporter saw him and asked him about it, and he said whoever is getting him is getting a gem. Crazy, that he kick off a few starters but won't say why and didn't even say they violated any rules.

You have not always been ranked higher.. only in the last year or two BUT Jackson State does not participate and turn in our data. I am not sure why not. If we did, I am sure we would be much higher. On top of that JSU is a NATIONAL University. AAMU is classified by that report as a regional university.

We are classified as a national university under US News and World Report.
