Boy I am so glad you are fixated on Dray Joseph. Didn't TBF's cousin light your defense up on Jackson so bad that it took Rico Richardson to save you? Have not learned that no matter who SU's QB is, we are normally alright throwing the ball. Now you got to contend with a taller and faster QB than Dray. No longer can you just send the kitchen sink at the QB knowing he can't run fast. Our Qb brings another dimension to the game that Dray couldn't. And he has a canon arm as well.

Bottom line and going to get beat again this year by SU.

Don't have to send the kitchen sink. Just play zone and zone blitz occasionally, something JSU never learned and did under Comegy.
That's why su beat JSU in Houston.
Still though, Comegy consistently beat su even when he didn't have a logical gameplan. Now we have a game plan and now the players are learning minute details of zone defense. If your QB can't pass, he's doomed from the start.

All you had to say was SU kicked our ass all over Houston and be done with it. Yet, you insist on opening those wounds. Comegy isn't your coach anymore. Your daddy, and CURRENT SU coach, (WORM) made sure of that. But, if you insist on reopening those wounds, knock yourself out. :tup:

It's real refreshing to talk about football even though it's trash talk, but just to talk it about...man this summer has been dry as shat..

But to respond on the PV debacle HA!.....you don't win championships on Paper...but I'll take that...less pressure on us...




"SU" is the CHAMPS heading into the season..

We really didn't have anything for a defense in 2010. Our 2009 defense was beasting tho! Things got a lil better in 2011-13.
 
SU might be an alright team but you all DON'T have a QB no matter how you try to slice it. By the time that teams finds an offensive identity, it will be too late. If PV does not win the WEST, that whole staff needs to be fired.
 
On paper they should run through the whole conference. Well that is if their defense is anything better. On offense, no senior OL, both RBs return, 2 starting wide outs, and all qbs. that's lethal!

I think PV's window is shrinking. They had their opportunity to take control of the West while SU and Grambling were seriously struggling, now SU appears to be on its way back and Grambling is beginning to make moves too.

I wouldn't say that. They have the most experience returning. Their season will fall on their D but of course, we have to see how teams fare with academics and injuries.

They should have been controlling the West from 2009-present. Take advantage while the competition is down.

Dude do you realize SU won the championship last year. Our team will be way better this season. We only lost 3 on offense.

lol Yes I realize but I know that PV have a shot to win the West just as we do even with a FR QB. The question will be whether or not PV defense can do anything under Yoshida and whether or not Shorts can manage the game .We don't need to throw 50 times for a win which is why SU focused more on running the ball this spring to help him out. With 4 starting OL returning, it will surely help. I'm not worried about our D although I think Balancier will be missed. Secondary will be the strongest! I guess we will see but I'm no homer I see things from every perspective however, I witnessed some teams who returned 20 starters fall flat on their face. *shrugs*
