On the radio stations Black people said I would like my child to go to UAPB or any other HBCU. But the majority of the comments were about Arkansas's Black athletes should go to UAPB. So in what better way to squash any ideas of some Arkansas's Black high school athletes about going to UAPB or any other HBCU is to publicized how un-organized THE SWAC IS RIGHT NOW.
I know those of you who do not live in this state cannot grasp the idea of how the political situation is between UAPB and Fayetteville. Ever since Ron Johnson, Chris Akins, Kevin Williams and other former Razorbacks transferred to UAPB,UAPB for has ever since has been treated like a red headed step child in the media.
Harry King really don't give a flying a red fugg about UAPB.

AAMU was a good addition for the SWAC, first of all we have been around 129 years. Secondly, we are making a effort to win every championship. Thirdly, we feel that our spending on all our programs is as good or better than anyone else in the SWAC or Division 1AA. At SU homecoming last year it was good to see the players talk trash, but now they now they have to back it up. Frat,
I have much respect for you, your school, and your program. It's just taking a while for your name recognition to hit with the casual fan. I think most GSU football fans were aware of the quality of your program prior to you joining the SWAC. There were some thrilling games before you became members.
I was glad to see you guys as part of the expansion years ago. Yall introduced us to a lot of things, including those synchronized stadium exits. :lmao:

MB, Solomon was a great teacher and I believe that are some things that must be experienced to really know the truth. I believe if AAMU had adopted the attitude that we should be satisfied with just being in the SWAC then I believe the offcials would have looked at us in a different light.
I don't believe the average SWAC Fan understand the investment of moving from D2 to D1AA, but we have invested in our programs and now we must in my opinion change the mindset of the officiating in our conference. Even though many SWAC Fans don't see this as an issue because based on what I witness each year some teams benefit from the old attitudes of our officials. I know officials are not perfect but they need to be more conscience of what they are doing. We spend a lot of dollars on sporting events and in my opinion, we should get what we pay for. Since the schools pay the officials, maybe we can demand better accountability in the future and increase the pay. I hate to see an official calling football and the next week he is on the basketball court.
