Does anyone have any?

I'm thinking of purchasing a bird, a parrot preferably. I would also like some fish, but my apt. is too small for an aquarium, so I guess I'll have to wait until I make that home purchase.

Does anyone on here have a bird?

Also, will apts charge a pet deposit on having birds? I mean, they are in their own cages.

Wanda, I am about to get some fish. I don't think the apt complex will charge you a pet fee for a bird....a dog or a cat maybe but surely not a bird.

Check with your apt. management. Everybody is different on pet rules/fees.

A fish would actually be less work in the long run; You feed the fish and occasionally clean the tank. There are some small bowls that you could start with. I don't believe a fish would be a problem in most complexes.

Get fish and get a small tank/bowl. Those are easy.

Birds are in cages, but they mess and drop seeds in the cage. The issue with that is when they fly or flap their wings, all that stuff flies out the cage and onto your floor.

At night you'll have to put a cover on the bird cage to simulate darkness so they can shut up. Otherwise, light signifies day time to the birds.

I was thinking getting fish would be more work and more expensive, but you guys are teaching me something. I may have to rethink this.

Don't know too much about birds or fish, but I could tell you all you want to know about...

COCKER SPANIELS!! :D

DTown, would you like a little maltese and poodle???
She doesn't weigh anymore than about 8-10 lbs. (toy-size). and just a year old, and she's soooooooo smart (sometimes a little bit too smart!). :D
She's actually my brother's dog, but I have her now.
She's had her shots. She has curly black hair, though it's been cut down (for the summer), nicely-manicured nails, cute little ears, a curly tail that loves to wag and beautiful brown eyes. She's friendly, faithful, likes to dance to music with you and loves to show you that she can stand on her two legs on her own!

Interested?? :D

I have a goldfish I have had since 1990. I love dogs but I think they are outside pets not in the house.

You have pictures...how much are you selling her for? My son really wants a dog, but I really didn't feel like being bothered with one. Plus, you can't put them on your insurance, so if her lil' ass get's sick, she may be outta luck.

LOL

Yes he is still living. I had three of them. The other two died a couple of weeks ago.:bawling: so I expect him to go pretty soon. I love my fish because if he could talk; boy ole boy the things he has seen. I could not have a real animal in my bedroom because there is only room for one animal in there you know what I mean.;)

I had a crazy azz Akita once, man that was the best dog ever until he bit a man (white). That dog loved the family. I knew he was going to be crazy the minute we named him '6'.

I have both. The birds work my last nerve, They are one step away of being outside. They make a mess with their feathers and bird seed. They will let you know when it is time to eat.

I have an aquarium and it is a task to keep clean. It will stay clean for about a month if there is an alge eater in there, but my alges seem to die fast.

I want a yorkie

Girl, my brother would have a heart attack if I really gave Eboni away, especially to someone who lives out in Texas.
He's probably going to want her back at some point. He only gave her to me, because of space issues (since he got married).

I am getting some pictures developed of her (with her long hair and that short cut she has now). If I can find someone to scan them in and email them to me, I can try to post them.

She really is the cutest dog!!! Oh my goodness!!! The compliments she gets is ridiculous!! I take her with me when I go walking in the park. I've had two women in one week to pull over in their cars and one old white man, just to ask me about Eboni. (Where I got her and where can they get one like her).
Vertojsu knows she looks like. Ask her!

Aww damn Roi, you got me all excited for nothing. I'll bet she is cute.

Sorry. Girl.
But seriously, I just may change my mind in a few months. I've only had her for about 2 months, and she does get on my nerves (I don't have kids, so my patience is extremely thin).

a red nose/tan & white pit bull named SPANKEY he is almost a yr old and he is my baby. he eats better that we do. a 20 pound bag of good dog food is higher than a MUG but he is worth it. you can't get close to me, my household, or my truck. "woman's best friend".

Sperm, my boyfriend has a japanese akita and she is spoiled and bad as hell. She needs to be outside instead of inside the house. :redhot:
