It's some jealous dirty rats in this thread. Anybody have pictures of how Country Grambling made poor crying Eddie stand in line to get in a game after booting him out like old laundry? And please, let's not even talk about how poor Hughes washed jocks years for jstank only for them to turn around and treat him like an old dirty jock......LOL

LOL....You really have to be Texas Sorry to not win 1 outright (solo) SWAC football championship in 64 years. His post kind of reminds me of Ms. Jenkins on the show In Living Colors. Nothing really accomplished in SWAC football championships so just sitting in the SWAC neighborhood gossiping and telling lies....LOL

Yeah, try to make JayRob the scapegoat for southern's ungratefulness to it's greatest football coach in modern day football.
Grambling gave Eddie a museum.
JSU rewarded WC's accomplishments by promoting him to Athletic Director.
southern rewarded Pete by firing him, then ONLY giving him a classic in name only. He should have his own statue outside of Mumford or at least have the field named after him. That's the LEAST they could do for the man who brought southern football back to respectability after 32 years of mediocrity. Yes folks, 32 years.

Hughes was not a great coach, average but not great. Most southern folks would be ashamed to mention Hughes' name alongside the great Pete Richardson.
A mere Pete Richardson classic??!! Come on folks. You can do better than that. And this.....ten years after firing the man?!

Jrob when u come to Baton Rouge in October. Walk over to the front of the field house an you will be able to can see all the s u greats in Tony Claytons plaza. Oh Pete Richarson will be in there.

First Rocksy Brown.....I said "Nice!!!"" In complimentary type form....it was your fellow SU buddy who decided to open his mouf wit a mu fukkin pinion....then I responded appropriately to him....you need to get them youngins who just registered on this page straight with who is on top of the food chain when it comes to SWAC Coaches.

Come on folks, let's stay on topic.
Pete was one of the best coaches in SWAC history. Most of us agree that he deserves much more credit than he's gotten over the years.
