Here you again with your PWI talk. When I worked with South Alabama’s Athletic Department during their FCS Independent Days, they use to bash students for supporting Alabama and Ole Miss more than their own program.

There is a bigger picture that Deion Sanders is trying to get out that folks continue to miss. It’s not a HBCU vs PWI thing. It’s an ability to compete at the highest level thing. Jackson State upsetting Mississippi State takes a 3/5 start level of the highest recruited black kids to beat another bunch of predominantly black kids from Mississippi State.

Nobody around here is following VMI, Austin Peay, Nicholls State, Northern Colorado, Yale, Maine, Eastern Illinois, Stephen F Austin, Northern Alabama, Chattanooga and many more!

Stop letting the white man beat your mind into believing he is dominant and your world is small! Don’t give him that much credit. Be more specific! PWI means Tennessee Martin and Lamar.

Stop! I was referring to black people always bitching and complaining, when the message is delivered from a black person. But, we are locked and loaded, when Mr. Charlie comes to town.

Don’t turn a “sometime” thing into an “all the time” when it comes to black folks. Yes, I have seen black folks react that way to black folks. However, I have black folks bitch and complain about Mr Charlie as well. Trust me, I got that part of it and your point.

Your use of the term PWI is still too board.

Believe it or not ... this question has been addressed before (HBCU NFLers and their kids not following in the footsteps/did attend HBCUs). It's not a new question ... with Deion, the question is flipped in the midst of what's going on in the country.

I actually asked Doug Williams this question about his daughter who is an awesome Volleyball and Basketball player if she will attend a HBCU. His response was simple...it's about tuition.

Yet Doug and Deion are two different people when it comes to the topic of HBCUs. One attended an HBCU and one did not. Both coached/coaching at a HBCU. Both sons were/are starting QBs at a HBCU. Yet, one chose a HBCU and the other decided to transfer because of his father.

I feel that Deion is bringing attention to HBCUs and is good for the SWAC but there are times when his approach makes everyone associated with the SWAC does not have the mental ability to push forward, I also find it interesting that a number of issues he has voiced his opinion about people have talking about for years.

What I would like to see are his efforts once his son graduates JSU. Will he still have this aggressive stance?

Another point brought up was the fact that he chose JSU because he felt the SWAC was a easier place for his son to get stats. Meaning are his efforts for the SWAC masked by his aggressive stance to motivate the SWAC for higher aspirations?
 



The answer is no because before Deion, yall were trash. He is tryna untrash yall.

His sons came to help his dad with the un-trashing. Without Deion, they would not have came.
