One damn yard stopped us from winning this game. JSU has an EXCELLENT punter. AAMU didnt start off with good field position all night. Most drives started on the one yard line. Every JSU point was off of a turnover. They didnt mount a drive until the very end of the game. Their lone touchdown started on abou the 7 yard line after an inteirception. I saw some good and bad. Believe it or not AAMU's offense is TOTALLY better than last year. They moved the ball the whole game, just couldnt cross the line. Anytime you start off first and goal from the two you should score and AAMU ended up fumbling on the snap BOTH times. Running game looks good with Bonds and passing game is much improved and COULD have been much better if one particular wide receiver wasnt so damn scary.
