I was lounging with my family...in between watching the football game and playing mafia wars...then all of a sudden..I look at my friends' facebook status and everybody is saying something about Kanye in a negative light....btw who is Taylor Swift?

Okay, I just saw it on youtube...I would post it, but it was already taken off due to copyright violations...

In a nutshell...Taylor Swift won an award for best video...Kanye interrupts her as she accepts to put a plug in for Beyonce's Single Ladies video which was up for the same award....
 
It reminds me of the Grammy's years ago when Puffy won an award and ODB went on stage telling everyone that Wu-Tang should have one...
 
Viacom must have a staff of people monitoring YouTube tonight.

After I heard about the situation, I turned to MTV and Taylor Swift was perfoming. What a hack! I could only stand about 15 seconds of it before changing the channel. I guess the little white girls love it though.

i agree with my brothers; joe wilson lied; kanye didnt; beyonce sh@ts on taylor swift and she showed it tonite when she performed; she should have gotten all of those awards; and before any of yall say i need to broaden my music verizon i am the biggest music fan of the beatles, blink 182 fallout boy, jimmy eat world but not a fan of taylor swift, miley cyrus or those gay jonas bros

It's not about whether he lied or not. It's an awards show. There's a time and a place for him to express his opinion, and that was not the time nor the place. You notice he only does this with white people. I wanna see his punk ass go up there like that when a black person is up there. He'd get his punk ass whooped. I fail to see how what Joe Wilson said or did has anything to do with this. Kanye would've did this regardless of what Joe Wilson said or didn't say. What would've been his/ya'll excuse if he would've done this last weekend instead of this weekend?
 
I agree with you totally TD. Beyonce showed real class after she won the top award (Video Of the Year). She allowd the kid to come out and have her minute. Kanye don't make the damm rules. It's MTV. Kayne continues to make an ass of himself.

I was actually talking to my son when he walked on stage. The next thing I saw was Taylor standing there looking confused. She did not deserve that.
 
Wow! I just watch the video posted by TopDog and that was over the top, and quite inappropriate, just as Joe Wilson was inappropriate.

There is a time and a place for everything, and that was surely not it for Kanye's rant. Though some may think Beyonce's video was better, that is not the way the voter's felt. So be it. There are many times when a person doesn't agree with an outcome, doesn't mean that one has to act an @ss in the process.

I'm no Beyonce fan, but I also just saw where she brought Taylor Swift back on stage later in the program. :tup: :tup: for that! That was quite classy of Beyonce.
