I'm bout to go 5-0 this week boi!!!!

TxSU @ MVSU(TxSU by 12 or so)
ASU vs. AAMU(State by 7)
TxC @ PVAMU(TxC by 20) pulling for PV though!
GSU @ JSU(GSU by 13-19)
ASU @ SU(SU by 20-31)

Still can't believe I'm #17. BTW good job PNeck on keeping this organized and also on the number configuration. I know it has to take time. I couldn't do it, no patience. I got bad nerves like old people.lol

the goododctor's picks

Oops! forgot the TSU vs Alcorn game.

TSU vs MVSU - I don't know what got into the tigers as they defeated the Braves. I look for the Tigers to make it two in a row over the Mississippi teams from the East.

Alabama State vs AA&M - I was going with the Hornets until I heard about coach Coe being hospitalized. The Hornets are on a mission and have enough offense to beat the defensive oriented Bulldogs. The Hornets are going to win this one for Coach Coe.

Texas College vs PVU - Come on panthers win this one for?????
I'm betting on Prairie View with my fingers cross.

GSU vs JSU - JSU gave the Jaguars all they could handled before 55,000 (my count). Kent getting injured took away the tigers momentum. I don't believe Bell will be able to get the tigers up for the G-Men. Look for the boys from Louisiana Normal College to prevail as they head toward the big show down in New Orleans.

Alcorn vs SU - Jaguars need a break. Alcorn still shell shocked from the GSU game. Braves don't have enough offense to keep up with the Jaguars. Richard and company continue to pay back those folks who humbled them last season. Alcorn? "Who is your daddy? Jaguars in a run away.

Last week: 5-0 Only because I overlooked TSU and alcorn. But, you take'm anyway you can.
I'm outta here Percy!!!!!!

I know you guys think I pick J-State just to mess with your heads like I did pv, but here's why I did in all seriousness.

In all seriousness, you picked JSU because that's who you want to see win this game. That's called WISHFUL THINKING.

Exactly. As is with Grambling.

It doesn't matter:

a. If either team goes undefeated the rest of the way;
b. If one of the teams loses a game; or
c. If each team loses a game;

It all comes down to the Classic. Head-to-head. The big game decides it all.

Don't let the numbers fool you... Take out SJSU numbers and McNeese numbers (both of whom are better than any team in the SWAC) and also factor in that because of our huge leads, we play subs late on defense. Granted the yardage may look impressive, but how intense must a defense be when you're up by 25 or more by half.

What better defense? You are really reaching on this one. Bell emphasizd the run and all they can get is 2.3? You might notice an increase in the GSU run game lately...that's because we've proven that no one stops our passing game. Now we can work on phase II.

No offense to PB, but ain't no way our players can take them serious as a threat. Do you realize we've scored 120 plus points against them prior to last week. So what if we only scored 41...we got to work on what we wanted to do. It was an oppurtunity to work on the running game...it was really good too!

McNeese would be in the top three in the SWAC and you really need to come off the SJSU crap because they aren't no Tulane 2002 team, they sucked and ya'll suck worst they would be at best a middle of the road team in the SWAC hanging between 3rd and 4th place.

Look for J-State special teams play to keep them in great field postion.

Wow, I was perfect last week. Maybe I can pull it off again if PV dosesn't let me down.

Alabama St 20, Alabama A&M 21
This will be a nail-biter. Bama state will miss a two point conversion with 10 seconds left to lose the game.

Texas Southern 30 , Mississippi Valley 21
Two teams that can't seem to find an identity. TSU will show up finally.

Texas College 21, Prairie View 48
PV, with thier pride on their sleeves, execute TC for their highest score in 2 decades.

Grambling 35, Jackson St 10
Basking in the glow of not being blown out by SU, JSU has nothing left for the G-men. Especially with Kent being a little banged up.

Southern 65 , Alcorn St 10
Jags score 43 in the first half before starting weekly scrimmages to prepare for the Bayou Classic. Anyone whose not injured or red-shirted gets PT in 2nd half.
