Well, it's finally game week. I know several of you have posted picks already, but it'll be much easier if everybody that wants to play posts on this thread.

Get em in by Friday noon.

I stay with:

San Jose State 41, Grambling 24

Both coaches are gonna use this one to work on the running game...however, Grambling is gonna go to the pass late in the game to mount a comeback.

GSU 28
SJSU 26

SJSU (35-42 points)
GSU (0-10 points)

SJSU returns a lot of starters. GSU lost a significant number of starters.

...GRAMBLING 35
...San Jose St. 28

...Stamina, reserves, and plain ole "heart" will win this one for the G-MEN!!!

GSU 23
San Jose 20

Box Score

1 2 3 4 Total
10 0 10 3 23

0 7 3 10 20

Grambling field goal kicker will make the game winning point.

I say this because of Grambling history in "Big Games." We seem to come out hard in the first quarter because we are crunk. Everything working like a machine. Then in the second quarter we dwindle.....3rd after halftime....we want it. 4th we do some surprising unexpecting play with 30 seconds left.....

GSU-28
SJSU-21
I think the G-MEN come into this game ready to play.
By the way if you go to sjsu's page all there sister schools
pick them to win maybe would could have that kind of support
here.....Just a thought

TigerPride pick Grambling to win? Man, there's a better chance of Louis Farakkhan being named the Jewish League's Man of The Year!:lmao:

Since I don't know much about SJ State, and I've never seen them play, I don't have any clue as to how to predict a score for this one, but I'll be pulling for the G-Men.

I know a lot of teams on the west coast are pass happy, and if that's the case with SJSU, then I would hope GSU's secondary is better prepared for a strong aerial attack, than it was at last year's BC.

Go Gram.

NICE

I would like to see Grambling win because it would bring more credibility to the SWAC, but if they can not come up with a running game...... it is over. From what I have read on other threads that their running came was mostly draws and delays to support the passing game. I have not been at their practice so I do not know if they are running a two back formation with leads, traps, and counters so that they can get the LB to focus more on run support and leave one on one converage on the receivers.

SJSU 40
GSU 21

I would like nothing more than for Grambling to win. They just lost too many players off of last years team to be able to compete that early.
