Trying not to read this thread after the movie came out since I won't see it till later tonight but saw these and it had me rolling...

 
I think the Hulk didn't want to turn because he felt that Thanos would kill him thus killing Bruce. Another point is after I watched the movie my wife said that it is interesting that Tony Stark and the Hulk survived. I told her, those two are the most intelligent and are needed for the second half.

Nah. The Hulk got his ass kicked and was shook. It ain’t had nothing to do Bruce being intelligent. Lol.

But all the original Avengers survived for a reason. In the next film, you’re gonna see Ant Man and Captain Marvel. They’re gonna play a big role in defeating Thanos.
 
my son was like... why did strange just open a portal under thanos and cut him in half...like the dude that lost his arm. why didn't they knock starlord out when he started tripping. strange didn't see that starlord was going to freak out on thanos and tell that man, "hey go take a walk for a few...we got this."
 



The Avengers need to take some teamwork lessons. I understand Tony and Cap had a bad end in the Civil War movie, but I'm sure that could have all been brushed aside to save the universe. There should have been 0 hesitations to communicate about the impending threat.

Since when did the Hulk have a decision on when he would come out? No way the Hulk was that scared of Thanos that he wouldn't even come out to fight his minions? Although I'm sure this is setting up for Hulk to get a huge power up probably when Black Widow is in danger.

What happened to Wakanda's advanced weapons and fighter jets that were shown in Black Panther? And why the heck was the decision made to allow an opening into Wakanda instead of bringing the battle to them outside the force field? All that technology that Shuri showed off in Black Panther definitely could have been used in this battle.

How convenient was it that Thanos had Gamorra with him when the news was dropped about how to get the Soul Stone.

Finally, what's up with the putting your personal vendettas and love affairs ahead of saving the entire universe? Several eff ups occurred due to some team members being selfish. You can find out about your girlfriend after stopping the evil manic that's looking to wipe out half of the universe. lol

Because then the movie would have ended quickly, and there would be no need for a sequel. lol

In Thor Ragnorak Hulk and Banner were at odds it happened in the comic books too and Infinity War came immediately after Ragnorak. Wakanda just finished a Civil War and tons of their weaponry was destroyed. Thanos had Gamora with him because she told him where it was and he brought her along in case she was lying. Tony underestimated the magnitude of the threat and by the time he realized it he was in space.

I know why Gamora was with him, I'm just saying that it was convenient since she was clearly the only person in the entire universe that would have allowed him to gain access to it (i'm still trying not to spoil too much. lol). I know I can't be the only person that found this part hilarious. She didn't even realize what was going on until boom. lol

Also, this underscores what I was talking about in terms of the Avengers being a very poor team that puts their own personal agendas ahead of their duties. How you underestimate the threat considering the person delivering the news? Tony was still hurting from his break up with Cap in Civil War and just refused to contact him immediately. This wasn't Stark's first rodeo, he knows how bad things can get and quickly. Thanos only succeeded because The Avengers wasn't a good team and some placed their personal feelings and relationships first instead of getting the job done (Yes I'm talking to you Starlord).

Also WTF was up with Nebula? She seemed to only live for the moment to kill Thanos but wants to play detective at the wrong time. Why did Thor not aim for a headshot on Thanos with his new weapon and power? lol

I'm just saying, Marvel is able to get away with a lot of things that other superhero movie groups wouldn't be able to.
