With the election coming up and all the worthless staged debates going on, you gotta ask yourself when it all boils down, are you better off than you were 4 years ago? is this country safer from terrorist attacks on this soil than it was 4 years ago?

welp, i'll start the ball rolling; yes and yes. how about you? (a simple "yes" or "no" please. i don't care to delve into partisan name calling, smack running and party dogma. thanks for your cooperation in advance. we can delve into the "whys" and "how sos" later. just want to get a non-scientific head count.)

Bart...no one is safe anymore...we have 2 extremes running for President...we have a warrior turned Pu**y and a Pu**y who wants to be a warrior....it really sickens me that the Republican Party does not want John McCain....and honestly...the Democrats scare the living fugg out of me.

Do I feel safe...only when I have my on personal gun with me....I really hate to make this next statement but I more frightened of being robed by another American than I am of terrorist.

No. In the words of the two major candidates: It's not a question of if but when???

So far it is 70% "no" and 30% "yes". Ok, that's about par given the "demographics" of this forum. Thanks. Any more weigh-ins?

PS: Thank you JSUT for not expounding on your answers (as i know your takes inside out), although the bold large type speaks volumes.

Bartram, these people can't see past their own partisan colored glasses.

Personally, I know what I'm dealing with in Bush, so I'm going with him.

If John Kerry changes his platform based on what Howard Dean says, then how can he lead us to anything other than indecisivness. If he can't stand up to Howard Dean, then how can he stand up to the forces that threaten this nation.

Bush at least has shown his hand. 20 years in the Senate and John Kerry has done nothing but run away from his record in that regard.

Kerry = Dukaukis (cowtowning liberals that will say anything to get elected)

I'll give you that one, Harbinger. But just like his hand, his HEAD is empty as well. Bush must go. Another eight years of his "cowboy bravado," and alienation of the allies, and we'll literally be a country all alone in this huge world. We're not far from it now.

Colored. I thought he meant dem vs. rep.

By "demographics" I meant a forum that is composed of HBCU students/grads who are overwhelmingly liberals/democrats traditionally and historically speaking.

,,, ok, i see i won't get straight up or down votes.

I'd have to respectfully disagree with the insinuation of your characterization. There's nothing wrong with "cowboy bravado" as you call it. We need more of it and less of this psychological emasculation of american leadership brought on by generations of liberal/socialist/feminist psycho-babble.

With Bush you know he will not sit the fence. He will make a decision. With Kerry he will want to debate the terrorist on what to do.

I am really having a hard time with this election.

With Bush you know he will not sit on the fence, he'll make a Decision :uhoh:

Does it matter if it is the wrong decision?? Guess not. :shame:

Does it matter if Bush lies and get Americans killed? :shame:
