Note To SWAC: Texas Southern To Join Big XIII

Thursday night (Feb. 28th) we had a Reception/Fundraiser for Coach Cole at Hotel ZaZa when he introduced his coaching staff featuring Defensive Coordinator L.C. Cole and Receiver's Coach Melvin Spears and welcoming legend Kenny "00" Bourrough back home as our Community Relations Director to the over 400 people in attendence.

We have decided to file our NCAA paperwork to become the first HBCU to SUCCESSFULLY move up to the FBS division and join the BCS Big XII conference.

I recommend the nine of you to allow Langston in to take our place.

That is all.

I understand that living in Montgomery, AL is tough on one's soul but just one day you can save your money and move to the bright lights of the big city where running water, paved streets and only one water fountain can be found per establishment.

B-Ob was there last night and asked that I kept his attendence discreet so I followed his wishes. How did you know he was there? He's not going to like this. :confused:

Hey "Daddy" Band fan showed up and got so excited that he signed over his store to Cole.

This will probably be my last day posting on the SWACPage. Our private forumS are being set up on all Big XII message boards now.

he may have to sell the store to help raise cash for the membership fee :emlaugh:

They tell me RobT 17 and Deon wrote the first two checks and called Bev up to celebrate

The first check came from another SWAC school...with a note. I will let CLEB tell you about the note!
