I think another point to look at when comparing Joe Millionaire to American Idol is that JM is publicized as sexy women trying to win one man a millionaire's heart. The show itself is surronded by sex.
Now AI on the other is not about sex appeal. It's target audience are all ages (family oriented).

Like I said in another thread Frenchie has talent and something will definitely happen for her but she has be aware of the consequences that comes with her actions.

Plus we (the public) don't know what's in the AI contract regarding this matter.

However, I disagree that it isn't sex oriented. It may have been touted as a family show, but it is far from sexless. The main reason is that sex sells records and Simon is forever telling a person who ghastly they look or how they "walked out here a loser"... etc. He wants him to have skinny bodies and be the typical whitebread "American Idol"....They aint ready for regular every day folks. ....or so it seems.

If you look at most of the top 10 people last year in regards to how they dress; I can only think of one person who dressed provactively and that was Ryan (she always had some type of skin showing). If you look at Kelly (the winner) and Tamayra they didn't dress like Christina Aguilera; were conservative.

I do agree sex sells but I don't think that's so much the case for AI. IMO when Simone talks about how "ghastly" someone is;he's talking about more a look (ex.petite frame) than someone dressing like Lil Kim.

There's a fine line in regards to sex with almost every t.v program on (just look at the Disney station w/ their cartoons and programs) but I don't think AI wants to be associated w/ porn in any fashion.

There are some pretty women who may be big.....Frenchie ain't one of them. If one of you saw that show and said anything about Big French, with the exception of, "She can sang.." then I know never to trust your standards in women. Biff, you may want to contact Soph, he said he loves them big. And I guess Big Dawg took offense tome talking about the girl of his dreams......so maybe you can hook him too.

OK, I have to admit, I've never watched more than about 3 seconds of "American Idol", and I only recently saw a picture of your girl. My point was more in defense of people who don't look like your archetypical "beautiful person" because our society is so fugged up about those superficial things.
