No JSU Stadium Money in Bond Bill

I talked about the NAACP and Bennie Thompson so bad about this that they refuse to help me :lol

Obama got 44-45% of the vote here in Mississippi DESPITE of the Dem party. Obama REFUSED to come to Mississippi because of how weak the Dems are and that hurt Bennie's feelings lol

Obama and the DNC didn't give any get out the vote money to any state and county they needed. They are lucky old crazy Todd Akin opened his mouth or they would have lost a senate seat in MO behind this strategy.

Funny thing, Mary Landrieu will probably be in a heated political fight for her seat against some no-name Republican in Louisiana. She knows she definitely has torn her drawers with President Obama when she NEVER officially endorsed him in either one of his elections. Also, she is getting some heat coming from the far left of the Democratic Party due to her stand on same-sex marriage and gun control laws. I really think the Democrats wouldn't miss her if she doesn't get re-elected, since she's probably one of few Democrats that vote closer to the Republican Party on issues. Although some folks have said her family might have some non-White roots in them, she has shown very little respect for Black male politicians that are at or above her level, such as Cleo Fields and President Barack Obama.

Lmaooo. Not only was no funding allocated, but dude told y'all to stop issuing false hope. I can't. I'm dead. That was beautiful. Question. Is anyone here REALLY surprised?

If JSU is responsible for the debt, why would the state stop any university form issuing bonds. Is the state of Mississippi ultimately responsible for the debt or is it pure politics?
What difference would it make if they could issue bonds? I'm sure the ever fiscally rexponble and economically sound jsu supporters on here would reject, referring to the financing as a shiny .new price tag". Well, that may be your only hope.

They didn't really issue any bonds this year.
The only school that got any bonds issued for anything was Ole Miss and that was for only $10 million on a $63 million medical School expansion. The Governor didn't even give his Ag. Commissioner what she asked for on the Colisum. Not a dime for anyone outside of regular budgeting for fixing existing Buildings on campus. I think JSU got $11 million for that.

Many people in S. Louisiana know this though it's seldom talked about. I am not a Mary Landrieu fan. She tore her drawers with me a long time ago when she wouldn't endorse Cleo. She reminds me of a Dixiecrat that forgot to haul her butt to the GOP. Ironically, I don't have the same feelings about Mitch and think he is okay.

They surely don't know what these Republicans in the state legislature and Govenor's mansion are going to do. Like you said, they only know what they are hoping, wishing and begging Massa for.

IMO, I think Mary cut a deal with a few rich Republicans in Louisiana to help divide the Louisiana Democratic Party, which is why she continues to get re-elected. She's basically Louisiana's token Democrat. Mary used the Black community by getting next to Black preachers. I really think the same people that are controlling Jindal are the same people controlling her. Now that Jindal's popularity is in decline, she's starting to denounce his rhetoric, but before then, she remained neutral on Jindal's legislation. I'm pretty sure Jindal will endorse a Republican candidate. It’s a shame that Black folks in Louisiana couldn’t see this 16 years ago, especially after what she did to Cleo.

Some Black folks have gotten too complacency. We need to get back to expecting the worst, but hoping for the best. With that attitude, we can put ourselves in a position to pre-determine their every move.

They didn't give anyone a dime this year.
Oh well...........Everything will be back up on the table for next year.

It's sad to say the least, but even next year will be an uphill battle, because the other programs who also didn't get funding will be fighting for those dimes again. Plus, Ole Miss, Miss. St. and So. Miss will put $$$$ in the pockets of those same senators next year. I guess they've already started. Now, this will push a construction and a finished date back another couple of years if this thing is ever done.

You all don't know isht. Is that a crime to tell the truth??

Did yall really think JSU would have a dome stadium and Ole Miss doesn't have one? These states will not allow the HBCU's to have anything better than the PWC's. If JSU wants a dome stadium, they will have to raise the funds themselves.

Why is it that ya'll think Ole Miss have anything to do with what JSU do as far as a stadium. I guess next ya'll will say the ledgislature didn't give the REPUB AG. Commissioner that $47 million for the Colisum because of Ole Miss.

All these Louisana and Alabama experts still talking about shat that have nothing to do with what has been explained. Nobody got anything this year. And that includes Ole Miss, Miss. State, and USM. Over a dozen people have stated that in this thread but ya'll just want to be negros.

Keep talking about JSU and Mississippi while your own redneck squeeze ya'll damm near out of existance in your states.
