No, they wait until after the NCAA selection and then offer invites. Usually it will come out late monday or early tuesday morning.

No prob!

If State Creeps into the NCAA tourney (and they should after the way they played #2 Kentucky today)
then.... I think We'll (JSU) be headed north to Oxford, MS to take on OleMiss.
That's my Guess!

If Not, we might be headed to Starkville

GOOD LUCK TO THE JACKSON STATE TIGERS!!!!!! JSU, ROCK DA HOUSE!!!!!:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Well Miss. State and Ole Miss didn't make the NCAA's. I doubt the NIT will pair Miss. State against Ole Miss. Looks like JSU will play Miss. State or Ole Miss?

That's what I love about our conference; we can do what these SEC big schools cannot do.....................we still playin' and reppin' our states! CONGRATULATIONS TO JACKSON STATE AND TO THE UAPB GOLDEN LIONS!!!!!

I can't say this enough: THE SWAC IS THE BEST ATHLETIC CONFERENCE!!!!!!

I can go ahead and feel confident in saying that Jackson State will be going to MSU since they were the first team left out the Big Dance...

If they do pair Dem Tigers up with one of dem other Miss. Schools...I hope like Hell J-State is the King of Miss on that night....
Go Tigers....Rock the MFing House!!!!!!!!!

I hope some of JSU fans travel to the game. It should be a good one. Just punch Varnado in the d@mn face. lol

NIT: Mississippi State vs. Jackson State

Good Luck Tigers!!! If Larry Smith and the Braves could do it in the 80s, than you can do it too!!! (oh and good luck UAPB. Technically you have to win one more game to be in the tournament so good luck).

this should be a good matchup......Represent JSU!!!!!.........shit can't believe I just said that lol!

I looked the scores MS State had against other SWAC and mid-major schools. They obviously got very hot during the tournament. Let's hope they are over looking us becasue if we play a solid game, I think we can hang with them.

We should also be much more rested than they are: Thanks Grambling. :D
